Isaiah 55:10–13
The Precipitation 10
Source of Supply – “from heaven”
God is the origin of all spiritual nourishment. Rain and snow symbolize divine intervention—timely and purposeful.
Saturation of Soil – “watereth the earth”
His Word penetrates hearts, softens hardened spirits, and prepares for growth.
Stimulation of Sprouting – “bring forth and bud”
The Word doesn’t just touch—it transforms.
Spiritual fruitfulness follows divine saturation.
Sustenance for the Sower – “seed to the sower, and bread to the eater”
God’s Word feeds both the laborer and the listener. It equips for ministry and nourishes for maturity.
The Proclamation (v.11) “So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth…”
Divine Dispatch – “goeth forth out of my mouth”•
The Word is not man’s invention—it’s God’s declaration.
Every utterance carries divine authority.
Guaranteed – “shall not return unto me void”
No sermon, scripture, or spiritual seed is wasted.
Even unseen results are part of God’s plan.
Purposeful – “shall accomplish that which I please”
God’s Word fulfills His will—not ours.
It convicts, comforts, and calls according to divine design.
Prosperous – “shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it”
The Word is targeted and effective.
Whether in a heart, a home, or a harvest—it prospers.
The Promise (v.12-13) “For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace…”
Joyful J – “go out with joy”
Redemption leads to rejoicing. The believer’s walk is marked by gladness, not gloom.
Peaceful – “led forth with peace”
God doesn’t just send—He leads. Peace is both the guide and the gift.
Praise of Creation – “mountains and hills… trees… clap their hands”
Nature responds to redemption. The world rejoices when God’s people walk in His Word.
Romans 8:20–22 KJV 1900
For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.
Proof 13
Time will reveal the evidence of God’s Word making the difference.
Remember we don’t always reap when we sow, or what we sow, but we will reap what we sow.
God will get the glory for what His Word has accomplished.
