Faith Industries Devo 1:8
Theme:
Walking in God’s wisdom keeps us on the path of righteousness and leads to life, while rejecting it ends in destruction.
• Walk with the upright.
• The righteous remain; the wicked are cut off.
20 So you may walk in the way of goodness, And keep to the paths of righteousness.
21 For the upright will dwell in the land, And the blameless will remain in it;
22 But the wicked will be cut off from the earth, And the unfaithful will be uprooted from it.
20 So you may walk in the way of goodness, And keep to the paths of righteousness.
1. The Call to Follow the Upright (v.20)
– Wisdom leads us to imitate the way of the righteous.
1 Imitate me, just as I also imitate Christ.
21 For the upright will dwell in the land, And the blameless will remain in it;
2. The Blessing of the Faithful (v.21)
– Those who walk uprightly will dwell securely in the land.
8 This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.
9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
22 But the wicked will be cut off from the earth, And the unfaithful will be uprooted from it.
3. The Fate of the Wicked (v.22)
– Those who reject wisdom and pursue evil will be cut off and removed.
22 His own iniquities entrap the wicked man, And he is caught in the cords of his sin.
23 He shall die for lack of instruction, And in the greatness of his folly he shall go astray.

Devotional Summary
God’s wisdom not only protects us from evil but also directs us toward the path of righteousness. Proverbs 2:20–22 reminds us that the way we walk determines our destination: those who follow the upright will enjoy God’s blessing and stability, while those who persist in wickedness will ultimately face ruin. Wisdom calls us to choose our path carefully, walking with those who honor God.
