Is it sinful to be angry?
A man of quick temper acts foolishly, and a man of evil devices is hated.
This is less about becoming angry quickly and more about expressing that anger quickly.
Whoever is slow to anger has great understanding, but he who has a hasty temper exalts folly.
To be long of nose. The idea that an angry exhale takes longer to reach the air.
A hot-tempered man stirs up strife, but he who is slow to anger quiets contention.
Those who are quick to anger have a tendency to stir up trouble. On the other hand, being slow to anger will lead to a person quieting potential issues.
Whoever is slow to anger is better than the mighty, and he who rules his spirit than he who takes a city.
Those who are slow to anger achieve more than a mighty warrior. More self-control.
Good sense makes one slow to anger, and it is his glory to overlook an offense.
What must we do in order to be slow to anger? Have some sense. Common sense aint that common.
To overlook an offense.
A man of great wrath will pay the penalty, for if you deliver him, you will only have to do it again.
To be hot tempered is to create a habit.
A fool gives full vent to his spirit, but a wise man quietly holds it back.
