Psalm 29:3-4

3 The voice of the LORD is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth: the LORD is upon many waters.
4 The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is full of majesty.
Here are the LOCATIONS of the Lord’s voice:

I. The Pages Of The Lord’s Voice. v.3a

“The voice of the LORD is upon the waters”
(John 7:37-39)
The Spirit of God is how we hear the voice of the Lord.
The clearest way to hear is where we know He spake (2 Timothy 3:14-17).
Other spirits, including your own, will talk like they are the Lord. We must test them (1 John 4:1-4)

II. The Person The Lord’s Voice. v.3b

“the LORD is upon many waters”
Only One has walked the waters without sinking. (Matthew 14:26-31)
Only One has spoken to the winds and sea and they obeyed Him. (Matthew 12:23-37)
Only One has spoken to nothing and the universe appeared. (Genesis 1:1; John 1:1-3; Colossians 1:16-17)

III. The Power Of The Lord’s Voice. v.4a

“The voice of the LORD is powerful”
When God speaks things and people change.
In creation (Genesis 1:1)
In people (Matthew 8:5-13)
In salvation (Romans 10:17; 2 Corinthians 5:17)

IV. The Place Of The Lord’s Voice. v.4b

“the voice of the LORD is full of majesty”
When the King spoke there was power (John 18:5-6)
When the King spoke there was purpose (John 15:3; Ephesians 5:26-27)
When the King speaks next it will be a call home (1 Thessalonians 4:16; Revelation 4:1)
