You Belong to God!

Before God formed the world, He had you in mind. He already knew what you would look like, He thought about every detail: The colour of your eyes, the colour of your skin, your hair. He created the world thinking of you, and what specific time in history you were to be born in. He thought about the talent, gifts and skills He would give you, and how you would use them to serve Him and to glorify Him.

Ephesians 1:4 ICB 

In Christ, he chose us before the world was made. In his love he chose us to be his holy people, people without blame before him.

Before God made the world He chose you, He made you to belong to Him, He chose to be part of His family.

Psalm 100:3 ICB

Know that the Lord is God.     He made us, and we belong to him.     We are his people, the sheep he tends.

Who you are, your personality, the way you do things, He gave that to you, so you would do things the way no one else does, so the way you serve Him and talk about Him would be unique and special, because you are unique and special.

He has chosen you to tell the world about His Kingdom, with your words, through your actions, your conduct, the way you speak, through generosity, kindness, forgiveness.

1 Peter 2:9 ICB ‘But you are chosen people. You are the King’s priests. You are a holy nation. You are a nation that belongs to God alone. God chose you to tell about the wonderful things he has done. He called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.’

Your identity is found in God, by knowing God more, you will know more about yourself, you will know who you are and what you can do. By praying and reading the God’s love letter to us - the Bible - you will discover who God says you are, The Bible says:

You are fearfully and wonderfully made 

You were made in God’s Image

Before He formed you in mother’s womb He knew you

You are a Son of God

You are Daughter of God.

You are loved: (Romans 5:8)

You are chosen: (John 15:16)

You are forgiven: (Ephesians 1:7)

You are a new creation: (2 Corinthians 5:17)

Your are free: (John 8:36, Galatians 5:1)

Your are God's workmanship: (Ephesians 2:10)

You are a child of God: (John 1:12)

1 John 3:1 ICB

 The Father has loved us so much! He loved us so much that we are called children of God. And we really are his children. But the people in the world do not understand that we are God’s children, because they have not known him.

So whenever anyone says that your are something that is not true, that you are something that makes you feel sad, makes you feel that you don’t belong, remember what God says about you: 

He says that you are Loved.

You are chosen.

You are so valuable to Him that He send His son Jesus to die for your sins so you could live with Him forever.

You are a child of God.

John 1:12 ICB

 But some people did accept him. They believed in him. To them he gave the right to become children of God.

You belong to God, you are safe in His hands, there is nothing you could ever do to make Him stop loving you. He has chosen you, you are His, you belong to God!
