Over the last few weeks we talked about Evangelism .
We learned what is Evangelism and it means to spread the gospel news, WE learned why and it was because Jesus commanded us to do so in the great commission before he would leave this Earth.
We talk about HOW we are supposed to Evangelize in Romans 12 we see verese 13 says “ When Gods people are in need, be ready to help them. Always be eager to practice Hospitality.
I talked last week about how many studies show that showing hospitality in the 21st century is potentially one of the most affective ways of evangelizing in our day and age.
In John 21 after the crucifixion Jesus had already apeared to his disciples once before and when they were all together agin and out fishing Jesus appeared on the beach and this takes place
READ John 21:4-9 If you can just remeber what Jesus had just endured on that cross and here he is a few days later and we just get another glimpse of Jesus heart for His people because he prepares a meal for them. Mind you when He first appeared to them they didn’t even believe it was him even though they had seen him do miraculous miracles before they still doubted him. Thomas even doubted so much that he insisted he had to place his hand on the wounds where Jesus was nailed to the cross and on the hole in his side where the Romans had speared him. Jesus had every rite to be angry at their unbelief but instead He says come and sit ive prepared for you a meal.
Jesus showed Hospitality all through His ministry from sitting and eating with tax collectors and sitting with a Samaritan woman and speaking to her, from washing feet and they dying on a cross for all of humanity.
