Turns his attention toward the Temple of which he supervised the construction.
He watched worshippers come and go, and noticed they didn’t fear God.
He noted people who were not sincere in their worship.
He saw people who were not being affected by worship.
They were the same people when they were before they came and left.
They were robbing God of His reference and His worship.
We are to present our bodies to God not only at worship but in our every day presentation of ourselves to God.
Romans 12:1 “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.”
Romans 12:2 “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”
There are items of worhsip that we participate in when we come to worship.
We are the instruments of worship.
Jesus is the sacrifice of Worship
Hebrews 10:11 “And every priest stands ministering daily and offering repeatedly the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins.”
Hebrews 10:12 “But this Man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God,”
Hebrews 10:13 “from that time waiting till His enemies are made His footstool.”

Hebrews 13:16 “But do not forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.”
Repentant
Psalm 51:17 “The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, A broken and a contrite heart— These, O God, You will not despise.”
How We Approach God in Our Worship Shows if We Fear God. (Ecclesiastes 5:1)
How We Approach God in Our Worship Shows if We Fear God. (Ecclesiastes 5:1)
Guard your steps when you go to the house of God. To draw near to listen is better than to offer the sacrifice of fools, for they do not know that they are doing evil.
Ephesians 4:1 “I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called,”
Ephesians 4:2 “with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love,”
Ephesians 4:3 “endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.”
Colossians 1:10 “that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God;”
Colossians 2:6 “As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him,”
1 Thessalonians 2:12 “that you would walk worthy of God who calls you into His own kingdom and glory.”
Saul didn’t walk careful
Saul didn’t walk careful
1 Samuel 15:12 “So when Samuel rose early in the morning to meet Saul, it was told Samuel, saying, “Saul went to Carmel, and indeed, he set up a monument for himself; and he has gone on around, passed by, and gone down to Gilgal.””
1 Samuel 15:13 “Then Samuel went to Saul, and Saul said to him, “Blessed are you of the Lord! I have performed the commandment of the Lord.””
1 Samuel 15:14 “But Samuel said, “What then is this bleating of the sheep in my ears, and the lowing of the oxen which I hear?””
1 Samuel 15:15 “And Saul said, “They have brought them from the Amalekites; for the people spared the best of the sheep and the oxen, to sacrifice to the Lord your God; and the rest we have utterly destroyed.””
1 Samuel 15:16 “Then Samuel said to Saul, “Be quiet! And I will tell you what the Lord said to me last night.” And he said to him, “Speak on.””
1 Samuel 15:17 “So Samuel said, “When you were little in your own eyes, were you not head of the tribes of Israel? And did not the Lord anoint you king over Israel?”
1 Samuel 15:18 “Now the Lord sent you on a mission, and said, ‘Go, and utterly destroy the sinners, the Amalekites, and fight against them until they are consumed.’”
1 Samuel 15:19 “Why then did you not obey the voice of the Lord? Why did you swoop down on the spoil, and do evil in the sight of the Lord?””
1 Samuel 15:20 “And Saul said to Samuel, “But I have obeyed the voice of the Lord, and gone on the mission on which the Lord sent me, and brought back Agag king of Amalek; I have utterly destroyed the Amalekites.”
1 Samuel 15:21 “But the people took of the plunder, sheep and oxen, the best of the things which should have been utterly destroyed, to sacrifice to the Lord your God in Gilgal.””
1 Samuel 15:22 “So Samuel said: “Has the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, As in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, And to heed than the fat of rams.”
1 Samuel 15:23 “For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, And stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the Lord, He also has rejected you from being king.””

How We Pray to God Shows if We FEAR GOD. (Ecclesiastes 5:2-3)
How We Pray to God Shows if We FEAR GOD. (Ecclesiastes 5:2-3)
Be not rash with your mouth, nor let your heart be hasty to utter a word before God, for God is in heaven and you are on earth. Therefore let your words be few.
Matthew 6:7 “And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words.”
Matthew 6:8 ““Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him.”
Matthew 6:9 “In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name.”
Matthew 6:10 “Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven.”
Matthew 6:11 “Give us this day our daily bread.”
Matthew 6:12 “And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors.”
Matthew 6:13 “And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.”
Matthew 6:14 ““For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.”
Matthew 6:15 “But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.”
Matthew 5:23 “Therefore if you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you,”
Matthew 5:24 “leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift.”
Ephesians 4:24 “and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.”
Ephesians 4:25 “Therefore, putting away lying, “Let each one of you speak truth with his neighbor,” for we are members of one another.”
Ephesians 4:26 ““Be angry, and do not sin”: do not let the sun go down on your wrath,”
For a dream comes with much business, and a fool’s voice with many words.
Proverbs 29:20 “Do you see a man hasty in his words? There is more hope for a fool than for him.”
How We Make and Keep Our Vows to God, Shows if we FEAR GOD. (Ecclesiastes 5:4-7)
How We Make and Keep Our Vows to God, Shows if we FEAR GOD. (Ecclesiastes 5:4-7)
When you vow a vow to God, do not delay paying it, for he has no pleasure in fools. Pay what you vow.
It is better that you should not vow than that you should vow and not pay.
John 4:24 “God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.””
Let not your mouth lead you into sin, and do not say before the messenger that it was a mistake. Why should God be angry at your voice and destroy the work of your hands?
For when dreams increase and words grow many, there is vanity; but God is the one you must fear.
Psalm 66:13 “I will go into Your house with burnt offerings; I will pay You my vows,”
Psalm 66:14 “Which my lips have uttered And my mouth has spoken when I was in trouble.”
Psalm 66:15 “I will offer You burnt sacrifices of fat animals, With the sweet aroma of rams; I will offer bulls with goats. Selah”

Psalm 66:17 “I cried to Him with my mouth, And He was extolled with my tongue.”
Psalm 66:18 “If I regard iniquity in my heart, The Lord will not hear.”
Psalm 66:19 “But certainly God has heard me; He has attended to the voice of my prayer.”
Psalm 66:20 “Blessed be God, Who has not turned away my prayer, Nor His mercy from me!”
