Your Prayer Room

Do you only pray for things that are urgent?
Do you only pray from time to time or do you schedule time to pray?
Do you have a prayer strategy?
The enemy has a strategy to use against you.
We need to be ready!
Having a prayer strategy allows us to strategically seek God’s face with all of the areas of our lives.
We should be praying for all of the matters of our lives.
Praying for our house and that it is a temple of God where his Shekinah glory will rest
Praying for our family, friends, relationships.
Praying for salvation for those that don’t know you.
Praying for healing, miracles, and their needs.
Praying that they would be on fire for God and his will in their lives
Pray for your church. The Pastor and leaders.
Praying for our work and ministry
Pray for your boss, coworkers, clients, etc
Pray for blessing on the business and that you will be an invaluable asset through your hard work
Pray for your spiritual life. That you would grow, be spirit filled, and live to please God each day.
The list goes on and on.
That is why you need to have a prayer strategy
Prayer is a big part of spiritual warfare. Remember, we don’t fight against flesh or blood, but against powers and principalities.
We need to have a plan!
The plan
Set up a designated time or times to pray each day.
Begin with a few minutes of praising God, thanking Him for who he is, and inviting him to dwell with you.
Have your prayer list written down.
Categorize all of the areas you want to pray for
Add individual concerns of prayer to each category
Remember this is a living document. You should be adding to it regularly
Be sure to have a place to record answered prayer.
When you are in need of some extra faith. Read and thank the Lord for all of the prayers He has answered
Conclusion
Prayer is a battlefield! We need to put on the full armor of God and make our prayer lives powerful! Take some time today to plan your prayer strategy. Then execute that plan every day! Your life will be powerfully changed forever!
Your Prayer Room: Building a Strategy for Victory

Short Video Script (3–5 minutes)

Opening
Do you only pray when things get urgent? Do you pray from time to time, or do you have a strategy for prayer? Let me remind you—the enemy has a strategy against you. Shouldn’t we, as believers, have one too?
Point 1 – Prayer Is Warfare
Ephesians 6:12 NKJV
For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
Ephesians 6:12 says, ‘For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.’ Prayer is a battlefield! That’s why Paul goes on to say in verse 18, ‘praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit.’ Strategy matters.
Point 2 – Prayer Covers Every Area of Life
Philippians 4:6 NKJV
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;
We need to pray for our homes to be filled with God’s glory, for our families and relationships, for the salvation of the lost, for healing and miracles, and for our churches, pastors, and leaders. We also need to pray over our work, our bosses, coworkers, customers, and businesses. And above all, we must pray for our own spiritual lives—that we stay filled with the Spirit and live to please God daily. Philippians 4:6 tells us, ‘In everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.’
Point 3 – Create a Prayer Strategy
How do we do this? Schedule daily times of prayer. Begin with praise and thanksgiving. Invite the Lord to join you with His presence as you pray. Write down your prayer list—categorize it by family, work, church, nation, and personal and spiritual growth. Pray for everything! Then, keep a record of answered prayers so you can thank God and build your faith. This becomes your prayer room strategy.
Closing – Call to Action
James 5:16 NKJV
Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.
Prayer is not just a reaction—it’s preparation. It’s strategy. So set up your prayer room, make your plan, and execute it daily. As James 5:16 says, ‘The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.’ Your prayer life will change, your faith will grow, and you will walk in victory
Prayer
Father, teach us to be strategic in prayer. Stir up a hunger in us to intercede daily for every area of our lives. Let our prayer rooms become war rooms where heaven touches earth and strongholds are broken. In Jesus’ mighty name, amen.

Title: Your Prayer Room: Building a Strategy for Victory

Prayer is one of the most powerful weapons God has given us, yet many believers only pray when things get urgent. But the Bible teaches us to have a lifestyle—and a strategy—of prayer.
Prayer Is Warfare
Ephesians 6 reminds us that we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces of darkness. Prayer is how we fight, and strategy is how we win.
Prayer Covers Every Area of Life
We should pray for our homes to be filled with God’s presence, for our families, friends, and unsaved loved ones, for healing, miracles, and breakthroughs. We must pray for our pastors, churches, and leaders, as well as our workplaces, bosses, and coworkers. And we must never forget to pray for ourselves—to be filled with the Spirit and to walk in holiness daily.
Create a Prayer Strategy
Set a designated time to pray each day. Begin with praise. Write down your prayer categories and add specific needs under each one. Keep track of answered prayers to build your faith and remind you that God is faithful.
Prayer is not just a reaction; it’s preparation. It’s warfare. When we strategize in prayer, we are armed and ready for victory.

Affirmative Declaration

I declare that my prayer room will be a war room. I will pray strategically, daily, and fervently for every area of my life. I will live in victory through the power of prayer.

Closing Prayer

Father, thank You for the gift of prayer. Teach me to pray with strategy and persistence. Help me to cover every area of my life in prayer and to walk in Your power and victory. In Jesus’ name, amen.
