The Christian faith is a celebrating faith. Our celebrations shape our culture and influence the way we do life together. When God called a people out of Egypt, He formed a community and raised up a nation. At the heart of their identity was the celebration of their Exodus, the feast of the Passover. If we are going to be a celebrating community, we need to know what or rather who shapes us. Could it be Egypt? When we find our identity in Jesus, the ultimate Passover Lamb, we can truly celebrate. We have our own exodus from sin and misery to celebrate.
