Do you want to see every prayer answered in your life? God has already given us the model! When He spoke, He never doubted. When He said, “Let there be light,” it happened (Hebrews 11:1–3). Faith is not timid, wavering, or filled with doubt. James 1:6–8 warns us that the doubter should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. But the good news is this: you can live with bold, unwavering faith today! Pray with conviction. Declare God’s promises with authority. Believe His Word is true, and you will see His power manifest in your life (Mark 11:22–24).

How to Have Every Prayer Answered

Does God answer every prayer?
What does the bible say?
James 1:6–8 NKJV
But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.
James 1:6–8 “But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.”
No! God does not answer the prayers of those who lack faith. James says he will not receive anything from the Lord!
The puny, meek, oh if it’s God’s will, prayer of a spineless man that has no conviction in his requests. No faith or belief in what God has promised. No conviction in the power of God. This is not what faith looks like!
I know this has been taken out of context by some doubters as God’s loophole or a pastors loophole for a prayer not being answered, but I assure you it is not. I assure you that EVERY promise of God and EVERY prayer and word that comes out of your mouth with come to pass if you follow what I say in this message.
Wavering happened to the greatest of believers. But they, like you, can grow your faith. Even 9 of the disciples. Look at the example of wavering during Jesus transfiguration.
Mark 9:17-29. A desperate father brought his son, tormented by a mute spirit, to Jesus. The disciples had already tried to cast the demon out but failed. Jesus rebuked the “faithless generation,” highlighting the real issue—not the power of the demon which Jesus admitted was strong, but the lack of faith. When the boy was brought before Him, the spirit violently convulsed him. The father, broken and weary, pleaded: “If You can do anything, help us.” Jesus corrected his thinking: “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.” In that moment of raw honesty, the father cried out: “Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!”—a prayer that resonates with so many of us when faith collides with doubt. Jesus commanded the spirit to leave, and it obeyed. The boy looked lifeless, but Jesus lifted him up, and he arose—healed and free.
James 5:16 NKJV
Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.
Were the disciples living in the fulness of faith? Not in this case. James 5:16 “Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.” No Christian has to lack faith!
Were the disciples prayers fervent? Or were they like the mealy mouth pastors we see far to often showing their lack of faith with things like if it’s God’s will, or all we can do it pray, or it’s up to Him now. These are not statements of faith! They are not the words of someone that prays fervently.
Mark 11:22–24 NKJV
So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.
Pray with confidence! Pray with complete assurance that whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you shall have them! Mark 11:22-24
Do you believe in God’s word? Do you really believe it?
Look at what we were promised through faith
God promised Abraham that he would be a father of many nations and that through him the nations of the world would be blessed. We live under that promise. All from Abraham’s amazing faith.
We were promised righteousness and salvation through faith
We were promised joy, that we would never thirst again, long life, healing, miracles, provisions, the list goes on and on.
But we need to never waver. We need to believe ALL of his word.
Hebrews 11:6 “But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.”
Hebrews 11:6 NKJV
But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
It is impossible to please God without faith
You NEED to have faith to please God. For God to hear your prayers. For God to fulfill his word of doing whatever you ask.
How to have every prayer answered? By having unwavering, un-compromised, unfailing faith.
The good news is no Christian has to lack faith!
God gave us the model for faith. We just need to follow it. It is our solution to having every prayer answered!
Hebrews 11:1–3 “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good testimony. By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.”
Hebrews 11:1–3 NKJV
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good testimony. By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.
When we pray we are praying for things that haven’t happened yet. For things not yet seen. We need to believe they will come to pass just as God did in the 3rd verse.
When god said let there be light, did he doubt whether it would happen? Did he say I’m crossing my fingers or using my favorite prayer?
No! He spoke out boldly and authoritatively. Dare I say, fervently.
He KNEW what he said would happen.
We were created by the God whose word was, is, and ever will be. We have the power of these words. Of every word spoken in the bible. These words were before the world was formed and will be after the heavens and earth pass away. And these words now belong to us through him.
So the next time you pray for something. Pray boldly! Pray with authority! Praying knowing whatever you ask shall be done! Be fervent and without doubt and you will see miracles, healings, people changed lives, and the world changed around you.
