Life often causes us to stumble in words, actions, or thoughts but Jesus prepared His disciples, and us, for these trials. In John 16:1–15, He warns of rejection, persecution, and sorrow, yet promises the Holy Spirit, the Helper, to guide, convict, and comfort us. The Spirit reveals our sin, our need for righteousness, and the reality of judgment, but also points us to Christ, who strengthens us to stand. When we stumble, we need not fall, for God holds us. This sermon calls listeners to trust in Jesus, lean on the Holy Spirit, and surrender their lives to the eternal peace only He can provide.
