We got a good day.

But you know me, I based out of a church in North Carolina that in America. We've been there amazing, lean out, 25 years, that's when I launch. Download the full time traveling Ministry before that we pastored a church down in the State of Florida and we were there 17 years where I met my great inventors and our mutual friend. Keith Hazel who made the mistake one time of saying. Hey, there's this couple that lives in a really close to London Heathrow and if you ever need a place to stay when you're passing through, they love to have you. And I was like that sounds really convenient to you. End. That's 30. Some years ago in the food. Still can't get rid of me. But anyway, and it's such a base right here, so much is happening in the world as we know it. And I'm going to come and see you with some different angles maybe than you were expecting the umbrella for this is basically we want to hear from God, better more clear. We need a clear voice in a very disturbing world. And so I want to start in the First Corinthians chapter 14. Just kind of out here. So we're going to launch off this concept which I think describes exactly what we're going through 1st Corinthians, 10:14.

I laughingly say, I think Paul wrote this when he went to the third heaven and God showed him the internet and he just look at what I have no words for this. But I do know this. He says, there are doubtless many different languages or exes voices, voices, phone off in the world and none is Without meeting, but actually it's a double negative in the Greek, is the same word as none. None as an Envoy sits. Awfulness has many many phone off, many voices, and none are on on voice file using strange double- bear. What's that mean? They're all trying to say something. You know what, they're all saying you need to listen to me and if you're on any kind of social media, God bless us all. They're all saying, read my thing. Listen to my real, listen to my voice. I'm the real voice and there's such competition now for our ears, Compulsive. But if I do not know the meaning of the voice thing, word, phony, And the word meaning is interesting. I will be a portal to the speaker, in the speaker of corner to me. Nobody says, I don't know the meaning of the voice. That does mean I use Google Translate. Now I know what they're saying, it's not translation of the word, meaning the same word, you shall receive power. When the Holy Spirit comes upon you. If I don't know, the power Behind The Voice, Spanish, like a foreigner speaking, and that's what we need to be Discerning. What is, what is the driving force behind the voices? You are listening to, and there's only one way to really capture that.

The power is the love of God. It's always, it's always at the center of everything. God, so loved the world. That's why he sent Jesus. Write the love of God. God in his Essence is love. It's not like he, he, he loves know. He is love there for when God speaks, his voice is driven by love. Even everything that happened in the Old Testament. God's Redemptive heart to redeem man was the motivating. Factor behind everything, he spoke in the Old Testament cuz you look at your text, I don't see a lot of love, their their judgment and God's judgment which is always perfect in Fair. It's his love that wins in the end. I really love speaks. Love has a voice. Voice is love, and if we don't know the power behind words, that Paul says, I'll be like a foreigner. So if we're trying to share something with someone and they don't sense love It's like a foreigner speaking. So, I'll just sneak in first 12. I'll just sneak it in cuz it's so good. So, with yourselves since you are eager for manifestations of the spirit, that's why we're here to know how we can manifest the presence of God. And we just sang the song, I just want to speak the name of Jesus, was more to it than that but that's a good place to start. If you're eager for manifestation of the spirit drive to excel music, very important work in building up the church. We start in the community of saints, this is what we practice. We want to excel in, what speaking, the love language of God, to build the church, which is yall's? We stay in North Carolina. That's that's all y'all. Let's build. Building the most chapters of 1st Corinthians, 12, 13, 14. And it's all about people who speak by the spirit. That's 12:22 my nose. But let's go with it. Just what we call his thesis statement than 12:1. Now, concerning spiritual. And if you have, your Bible, says the word gifts in there, there's either a little number by it or it's in italics because we're gift is not there in the bridge will greet the professors, put it in because that pulse going to go there. But he is much broader when he starts. Now concerning spirits on the word, spiritual is tone, pneumatic own in the Greek was something spiritual people that's in the masculine plural which can beat. That means inclusive of both genders. Call Super pause Windows. Now, concerning spiritual people.

I do not want you to be uninformed or ignorance. You know, that when you were pagans, you were LED astray to mute Idols. However, you were let loose ends, interesting statement, you talk about people that are spiritual How do you say? Here's the, here's the opposite of that when you were pagans, you weren't spiritual, why? You are being led astray. And here's what's interesting by voiceless Idols. The word mute is pointless, iPhone us. Imagine being led astray by a voiceless, object, you like me? Tell me what I'm supposed to be doing. Leave me a voice voice recitals they says, but you were being led by them.

therefore, I want you to understand that's the antidote to ignorance. He says, you're ignorant. I don't want to be ignorant. Here's the antidote to being ignorant. I want you to understand what, no one watch vices phrase. Speaking in the spirit of God, that's love language. No one that speaking in the spirit of God, that means the spirit of God which is love. Is your motive is the driving force. The power behind your words, they can they can't say Jesus is a curse. God's love language would never say. Jesus is anathema. And no one can say Jesus is Lord watch except by the Holy Spirit, you know, when you get saved you're making Jesus Lord. How do we do that? We believe in our heart confess with our mouth. Jesus is Lord. That's not a statement. You can just pull off of a website. That's not a statement. You can say, repeat after me, we can get people to repeat after us. You can get kids to say anything, if you give him a treat, right? All right. You get done. We're going to pass out candy to everybody that says, Jesus is Lord. Are you ready by your head? Every eye closed. So you Jesus is Lord. Jesus Lord. Okay. How Sunday school every kid got saved? Why I heard him all say Jesus is more, but did they say it by the Holy Spirit or did they say it just out of their head? That's the whole thing about the spirit world we live in. So it was saying that last night. It's more real, this more tangible than everything is feeling touching with our outer shell. The spirit world is more real. It's, it's controlling. The realm is the Unseen realm. So we have to realize how it how important the Holy Spirit and then going back to first person to go back when he says, so with yourself. Since your ear for manifestations of the spirit, we want to manifest in the Earth, the work of the Holy Spirit. And you know, it's all tied up in his manifestations but he says strive to excel in building up the church now that we're building Waco. Do male is Paul Steam. The topic of this is all spiritual gifts. The topic of chapter 14 is actually all about prophecy, but Paul steaming pulse heart comes through seven times just, in chapter 14 of buildings, the church that the church would be built use. This is where to build thing I could do male. It's the same where Jesus I was just, I will build my church. Not talk about Hammers and nails and construction were talking about the word. Build means to build a cording to a specific design or architecture. Every church has a specific design. Every human has a specific design and here's the best part about that. It means to build with a focus on the process involved. Not just isn't done yet. It's like what's the process of building? It's all about process. That's usually in the process. That's why God takes his time and drives us all crazy. What is taking so long? You're in the process of building something in you, you know, when you get a prophetic word, Receipt. Tells you what his intentions are. Your potential is. Why? Because God sees the full blueprint, he sees the finished product only God can do that. Isaiah 46:10. God who knows, the end from the beginning. He knows the end already. So, here's the, here's the good thing about God. He's not judging you in the middle of your process. Everybody say, Amen. Thank God. Hallelujah. We do. We're always judging people and under construction know, God's not done with you yet. So. This idea of building and you see how important voices are when it comes to what, how can you leave and still build your church? When he ascended Ephesians, 4 says, he gave gifts unto men. He took the cloak of his anointing, Krista poured into five pieces and handed out Apostle Prophet. Evangelist Pastor teaching, their job was to equip the Saints, their job for the work of the ministry, for what the building of the body? There's that same word. So fivefold Ministry resource. We're just building people and that word equipped huge cat arches Ma. The root word art is moss with the word Artisan pfeifle. Ministers are Craftsman. What are they? Crafting humans were crafting spiritual lives and Conta is a prefix. Put on that word caught artisanals cop has a prefix when you put it on a weird like that. It becomes a standard by which something must be judged. We should what's the standard of their craft. This book. This is the standard for how we craft marriages is how we craft children. How we craft our finances, every aspect of human life on Earth for the future has to be shaped and crafted and this is the standard by which we do it. And this is what that's why this is under attack cuz the devil is just absolutely fight God's standard because he can't be one of us. What is man that you are mindful of in the summer said you made it a little lower than the Angels, but doesn't mean we're not inferior. We just a different breed with a pipe Christ. The devil will never be the body of Christ, so he just fighting fighting fighting. So that brings us to the battle and I love, Dave's topic. We live in a very noisy world if it's full of clutter verbal. So, I want to take a Direction, go to 2nd Thessalonians chapter 2. Going to hit this kind of fast because we have actually almost to topics procession, which is good. We're going to get a lot in here today. 2nd Thessalonians 2 and 4/7. For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work. What is lawlessness? Come from the enemy. I know Mia against the laws against the rules of God. The mystery of lawlessness is already at work to bring. Mystery means secret, right? Kind of a secret Doctrine, almost an enigma. And so lawlessness is hidden from our eyes. It's hidden is at work, but see we don't recognize it. We have to learn to recognize what voices are out there? Is that the voice of God or is that the voice of the world? The enemy. The enemy is been around a long time and he knows how to push his agenda of lawlessness and work it into the human sector. So that we actually end up rebelling against God. We don't even know it, it's a mystery, it's this moment, right? So go to 1st Corinthians 2. In verse 7 & 8. We have an antidote for the enemy's lawlessness 1st Corinthians. 2 verse 7. But we impart a secret and hidden wisdom, and that cool. We speak another translated in the new King James, as we speak, the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the ages, for our Glory watch which none of the rulers of this age new for. Had they known, they would not have crucified. The Lord Of Glory wisdom is will never be out. He know, he knew exactly what the enemy would be doing. So this amazing wisdom comes from the spirit. I just, I mean, Read that one more time, it's just like, wow, we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery. So there's the mystery of lawlessness but we have a counter punch to that. We can speak about the slope of the voice. What what were speaking? The wisdom of God is, is a tone of his love From which is I'm sorry. It was the hidden wisdom that God ordained before the ages for a glory. And this whole thing backfired on the enemy cuz it says, if they had known if those Jews and rulers and you know, Herod and pilate if they had known, they wouldn't have even carried out the execution of Jesus cuz that's what stage she Manatee. So, here's the scary thing, lawlessness exists in the body of Christ.

Don't look at me. Like you're so holy, we're all we're all victims, right? There's a little lawlessness. And I was like, I don't want to do that, but here's the thing, it's a mystery. And it's not easily perceived. That's what Paul saying. It's it's at work. It's in the church, it's hidden. Apocalypto encrypted. That's the word hidden means to cause something to remain unknown. With the implication that is concealed in his know what? I'm going to show you what's at work here. So the rulers of the world that crucified Jesus cuz they couldn't see into the mystery of redemption, you know, Redemption to the mystery, nobody knew how God was going to pull it off.

The Quincy, the mystery of redemption. And so the Redemption started, when they pulled off the execution of Jesus, it's like my boy. Why it was encrypted. The Plan of Salvation was encrypted, nobody knew.

Even the disciples like a like no you're not going to do. That's the God we serve. We should run a Victory, lap around the building come back in like this everywhere. It is hidden from View and it's our privilege to be able to find out how to counter lawlessness and starts. Right here with us, let me Define lawlessness. It's the breaching of the government of God, and the rejecting watch within the human heart. First of God's, right to rule us. That's why no one can say Jesus is Lord. Lord ruler. When the Holy Spirit has to come and put that in our heart, you believe in your heart. So it's the breaching of the government of God. In the rejecting, in our heart first, about the rejection starts in our heart of God's right to rule on nomiya inequities, I can translate it in nicquid, e in the King James version, which means there's a violation of law somewhere. Take that into the prophetic realm. Prophetic lawlessness. The aim of prophetic lawlessness is to corrupt the voice of God in the earth to corrupt. It not, not just not extinguish. It just corrupted a little, right? And it's been seeded into the church, and we're so aware of it now, because of the internet and social media, and YouTube, and there's voices everywhere, like Paul said, there's voices everywhere. So the Rebellion is obscured by the appearance of an accepted Ministry, looks like we don't get the whole message and we don't get the heart. And you can't always tell is, is there? Love that voice? Where's the love in that voice? So this fundamentally opposes the advancing of the Kingdom. You can see how the enemy is trying to see that in there. It looks like Ministry. I accept it on face value with their seeds of rebellion and Lawless actually denies the kingdom. And opposes Christ who sits on the throne, it opposes that Throne ship cuz the throne is not a chair. It's a seat of authority, it's where he rules everything from. So there's nothing better than the church. It's in Disguise. We don't always see it. You can't just watch a YouTube video and see it, but again, good news. We have been given wisdom, say wisdom. We've been given wisdom to expose it and you can expose it everywhere. Here's the thing. Where did Paul say Paul said this starts to work it in your own community in the church, the ekklesia church with a fierce, but if you start work, we are God's called you to operate. We can't be the police for the internet. I'm glad they need it, but we got to start in our own community. So prophetic lawlessness. Watch how do you recognize it? Then it operates with the fascination of phenomena rather than principal. I think that's up your yeah. I know some of your nose but Dave is so good he can buy. Send this out some of these slides out so you like don't stress just listen let let the Holy Spirit talk to you. Well, I'm talking, I'm going to talk to the holy spirit is talking to you. I'm going to talk about that next session. Stream of inter transaction is going on right now, but take these in and just grab hold of it. Why is why does it exist because people are fascinated with phenomena, were fascinated with signs and wonders and miracles, some people, that's all we care about. And then if you watched it, look, a scripture. Actually sends all signs and wonders to test her heart, you like Signs. And wonder, do you like me? You love me. So they emphasize emphasize the externals to the internal. As back to 2nd Thessalonians 2:9 and 10. Does the coming of the Lawless one will be in accordance with the work of Satan. What is like almost like are free to use that word saying? It's too creepy, we're not that weird or not, that creepy spiritual, we don't scare anybody off. The devil does, every he wants to counterfeit. The coming of the Lawless, one will be in accordance with the work of Satan. Displayed at all kinds of counterfeit miracles signs and wonders. We're out there, folks. They're out there. So don't be so hungry for a sign in the wonder that you would actually buy into a fake one. couple years ago, when I was in South Africa, I was talking with some pastors at one of our breaks and never tell me some amazing stories about But profits and our nation and meeting some things that they're actually seeing people are going to these meetings and there's fault signs and wonders, and people are in this. Always tied it with money. You can't serve God. And man, Jesus said to be one of the other. So when I was stationed, there's this. False prophet was having meetings and what he was doing, he was seething false Miracles into the Audience by handing out. $100 bill look like on a hundred-dollar bill. A hundred-pound notes that say down in their currency and that's like me for some people's, like a whole month's wages, so much money. And so, he would just say tonight your night, tonight's not a blessing to go online. Need you stop, go up. Just a minute and go over and just hand it to somebody. So, tonight's your night and then we're just preaching away and then go over and head on another hundred. You do this 5 6 times in the meeting, pick up Hangout, hundred-dollar bills, tonight's your night,

I just told me this going to happen now. So if you want your Miracle tomorrow night, we're going to take an offering right now and you put your seed in Harvest tomorrow night. So they did this night after night and if you're like a desperation How to get a compromise. These people were so desperate cuz they're so poor. They're just abusing poor people with money. I think he's creating a false sense of phenomena, you got to come and they tell their friends going to come in the offering cuz if you give me offering to do that whole false teaching, but, you know, you're do reap what you sow, but not the way we want it. so, We got to be careful. So, what happens? Well, then God brings pressure on the church. He brings pressure on leaders and Proverbs 16 11 tells us. Why

Probably 1611 says that just balancing scales are the Lords. The Lord owns the scales and the Lord is the one that makes them. Just, how does he do that? Well use as weights. It is a picture of the old fashioned scales, you know, two pans in a little chain goes up in the the t-bar. When you would go to the market and buy a product, you put your product on one side and the, it would tip this way, and then you put a bag on the other side of the merchants, would put rocks in or Stones the skank, awaits, and put pressure on the other side of the scale, until it came into balance and say, God looks at us in our lives. And he watches us when things start getting out of balance. What does God do? He puts pressure pressure? Gets on the church pressure and L pressure on our Lives. Why? Cuz he's just adjust balance and the scales belong to the Lord, and all the Rocks, all the weights are his work. So sometimes when pressure, you start feeling weight and pressure, you can't repeat the devil is that the devil scales? He doesn't have any doesn't put weights in the bag, dog does when we're out of balance, when the prophetic Ministry gets out of balance, God puts pressure and some of the semblances of imbalance, I just real quick, first of all, is what we call subjectivity the subjectivity of prophetic Ministry. Is it is subject because it's influenced by personal your personal feelings, your own taste, your opinions, your own bias. It makes it very subjective. Well, I just feel like the Lord saying what was he really sing? Or do you just feel it, right? Or you have such a strong opinion about certain political issues that suddenly, you want to turn it into a prophecy becomes very subjective. The only way you can balance the subjectivity of a prophetic word is with the objectivity of the written word. This thing doesn't change, right? So, that's how we have to be careful. Okay. You can even have a bias about mortality. We don't look at where this come from anyway. We don't look at death the right way. We're Christians, we have eternal life right now. I'm not being morbid. I'm just saying, we we are even more. We're going to buy us another way. We look at light life on planet Earth. And spiritual bias can cause spiritual blindness. If you're not seeing accurately, secondly, something else that brings kind of imbalances the season. We find ourselves in Ecclesiastes 3 gives 28 different seasons that we go through these humans churches go through it. So Ecclesiastes to everything, there is a season. Say everything. Pretty much everything going to be born and a time to die. That's how we start. There's a season for everything. So when Seasons ship and there's some kind of a pivotal time. In her life, we got to be careful how we prophetically interpret it. If we don't realize God's at work and we kind of prophesy our way out of a pressurized situation when God's putting pressure on us, when the right of Ecclesiastes said to everything, there is a season and a time to every purpose. A purpose that word of the Hebrew means to bend or curve. The Time of the Season for every bending and curving in your life which comes from pressure, how do you been something, you put pressure on it. What's that God? Shaping us shaping us internally, we don't even realize. All the stress, are you done into shape? You're out of shape right now, getting on, to the shape of Christ, inside of you so Seasons. Come and go. There's this thing. I sent sensationalism that says station is the gifts have ceased. This is Sensational using exciting, shocking language. That kind of excitement of the crowd and it's what we call a nothingburger, it's all bun, and no meat.

That comes from a man's Pride. It's so tempting. We want to be significant. And so these things happen, whatever things are happening, which leads tied in with spiritual climate of the day. When spiritual when things are shifting in the spirit realm, we certainly think this is the end how many times every September. I don't know if it happens over here, but every September cuz Rosh Hashanah is coming to the Jewish calendar, every September, the false prophecies October, like nothing happened, and nobody's calling.

And sandals. I just somebody sent me some the other day. It's like the end of the world September 22nd. So have a good weekend next weekend we're done. We're out of here. It's got so serious. It's in his car and all kinds of scriptures and everything.

I have plans as far as I know, I'm not sensing and I could be wrong. But apocalyptic, apocalyptic atmosphere can cause us to push into a demand for eschatological prophecies their fault. It happened with remember Y2K. Skip has been used to say the greatest not event in Christian history, it just didn't happen. It was a number but we got all worked up into the world of error is also what brings imbalance. And that's right out of First John chapter 4 I'm not going to take a lot of time with that button 1st, John 4. He said beloved don't believe every Spirit but test the spirits to see if they're of God. Nearby will know the spirit of Truth and spirit of error. This all the first John 4:1 through 6 in at the Ho-Chunk I'm not going to take time to go into that but in that is the test of overcoming in that Johnson. Greater, is he that's enough to get this overcoming language. We overcome by the blood of the lamb and the word of Our Testimony. But it's got to be the love of God, that keeps us going, because the rest of 1st, John 4, all John talks about his love will ever. Let us love one. Another love is of God. Love this love. It's all about love. And that's, that's the power behind the voice. That's how you destroy the spirit of Truth and spirit of fear. Spirit of Truth is full of the love of God. It's driven by the love of God. It's, it's one of the tests. How do we test we test for accountability? Has two Spirits. Is that is the one Speaking. Are they accountable to anybody right over there a lawless? Right at the Spirit behind. It doesn't line up with the word of God. And most of all, is that I feel loved. I feel loved when they say that voice comes at me like going, or are you feeling condemnation? There is no condemnation in Christ. Conviction. Conviction draws you to the father kind of nation, makes you run the other direction. So, last thing I'll just put this out quickly and Dave can send this out, but I've been using this quite a bit in this really helpful about the filters that we need to interpret the times we're living because There's filters. Like I said, there's by us running and all of us all the time, so we will get it to you. But what you just absorbed the concept here? First of all, the filter we all have our theological filter have a theological filter Yeah, there's that starts with God doesn't exist. So we all have theological systems of how we perceive truth and Theological influences, is what we think, we believe we can all say, this is what I believe. That's what you think, you believe, right now, in the Kingdom at my theology has shifted shifted shifted shifted. And I'm so glad, because I thought I believe that one time that I got, I got I grew up, right. I got, I went from Newark to me and I treat my theology shifted over the years. We grow into it and in it and that's what ends up pushing your decisions. So, the first one is, I think my most favorite in the most important, your Theology of the sovereignty of God I mean, really comes down to is God really in control or isn't he is pretty simple, which includes the Theology of suffering, we want to separate that out.

A macro sense. You can't withhold the whole Earth.

With me and I don't know I don't know where God is kind of funny does Almighty over all things, except when I have a problem and I can't figure it out and I don't know. Where is God when I need him the most right? You got to be a firm foundation of the Theology of. Secondly that your thoughts. See, how is your the purposes of God, which comes from that your understanding of sovereignty, which you see in his covenants, all through the Old and New Testament into the New Covenant, the purpose of God in the church, What was the purpose of God for the church understanding that? What's the purpose of the Kingdom? That's bigger than the church churches under the. So all these things that's what purpose is revealed in the kingdom in the church in the covenants. For the third one is the Theology of the Cross. That's really important. You should we have to interpret everything in our life, as a Christian from our understanding of the work of the cross. Do you have to always come back to what's the cross doing in my life right now? So I just send you a pic of your cross daily. Not once I've been baptized, I'm done with the cross know you're not across as now shaping, you a cross-shaped life, what's the cross doing life? And then your theology of leadership Because you can't lead what God hasn't given you authority over. Why do people trying to leave something of God's? Never authorized them. That was the problem from the beginning, with Adam Adams, South authorized. That's where it all started. And that's what the devil wants. Everyone of us to become our own authority, that's what breeds lawlessness. so, Like 1st John. John 14:2 just is a example. Just said in my father's house are many rooms. Many Abiding Place has really many play stages along the journey. But you have to look at this way. He talks about his father's house. There's a lot of rooms but it comes to your leadership. You have to say, Okay, what room am I allowed to function in? All of them. Do I have a license to go in all the father's rooms or do I have to really say, I need to find out where, where does God want me to function? And existing, where do I exist in father's house? Where do I exist in some ways? I would say every local church is a room. Because rooms are where people grow, it's where they're safe is, where the FED could be. The kitchen could be the bedroom, could be whatever. Am I allowed to be in? and we have to be inquisitive about that because when it comes to leadership, there's just this real temptation to be our own authority. And so important have layers of authority. So, that's your theological influences. Here's the other one is your philosophical bias, is another filter. It's running all the time. Something, you don't even know it's running in the room right now, okay, it's not wrong. Unless you use it for wrong purposes, you can use your own biases. Wrongly, a bias is an inclination, a particular temperament or just your outlook on life, the way you see things. And I It's like noses. Noses and opinions. Everybody has one right? What is what is this? Amma State incline, my heart to your word. Not to selfishness. Simple explanation. We all have a bias. We all have an inclination. And so it's not wrong, you can prefer an idea. But when you say, I prefer this idea in this is the only way it can be right? And you don't listen to other people, that this is philosophical Tyson strongly with your spiritual life, where Spirit soul and body. So here's a probably by, as I mentioned before, bias can blind you It is unchecked. It produces spiritual blindness. So where to buy ice come from? First of all information to buy and we live in the world of information. Now, Information from other people and other sources. Now, we have, we have more resources than we know what to do with, right? It's, it's horrible. It's wonderful. It's horrible, but it's wonderful. We live in, when I get rid of my iPhone without it, but I can't live with it sometime. So Newsfeed, social media, all these things, we have to check our information, and get how we have biases us how it makes us. Lean and find out of that comes your selection by us. Why does select the things that I believe in things? I agree with this political or theological or are these things filter inside of us. And then your experience by us is which you've experienced and that becomes your standard, which is it wrong. That could be your testimony but it's not a Thor at a table over somebody else, just because you experience that they did, so A lot of times when I'm working with L and working with churches and trying to help coach some people in churches, I don't mandate. This is what you have to do, because that's our experience. But I do say this race. This is what I've learned. Even though I just thought this is what I've learned. I see your situation. Now, this is what I've learned about them. And then I say, and this is what work for me. You're not work for you, but this will work for me if there is kind of what cuz you're not. Forcing it on people. I'm not forcing a by us. I'm just telling you my experience. And that's what, that's a safe way to prevent that. So this is how we have to interpret the times because the other what we sang this morning, Speak. In the name of Jesus, over fear and anxiety to driving forces in humanity for all of history by the way. But we have so much anxiety. In our today because of social media and that's a big indicator. Humans always have anxiety.

Camping that work for second-row to the Philippians chapter 4. He said be anxious for nothing. I think your beauty sleep, all you're sitting in the really nice prison.

He's running this from prison and it wasn't a nice prison. You anxious for nothing but by everything with prayer and supplication with Thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, that passes by passes, our mental faculties, the peace of God, which surpasses our understanding will mount a guard over what? Not your circumstances, your heart will keep guard, your heart in the knowledge in love with him. I'll bring this ugly prison. So the word anxious mean doesn't mean I don't care. Okay. I don't care anymore branches for nothing, I don't care. It's not that the word anxious. I'm not always the Greek word. That means don't have a distracting here. It's all about what this Traxxas.

Paul said don't get distracted but by everything with prayer and supplication. How do you avoid distraction prey? I was balls back down to prayer. Doesn't our prayer like our relationship with God. When you're when you're anxious and fearful guess what, it's a relationship issue. It's a spiritual condition. Go back to the father. Cuz my everything by prayer and supplication, supplications important part of our prayer life that we often ignore why I just prayed and nothing happened. Did you supplicate? My supposed to be at Saint. Paul said, prayer is communion with God, and then supplication is pouring yourself out in entreaty. I love that. It's literally emptying yourself. here's the best part of that, that word, Dale mean in the Greek means to pour out a self out in prayer Based upon the urgency of the need. Watch this, not knowing the answer. You know what trips up our prayer life? Most of time we think our prayer life is where we come to God with options suggestion. Sometimes you just got to pour it out. I don't know what's going on and I am exhausted. I don't know what to do and goggles, are you no more? Oh yeah, and I'm tired, I don't like the Bible a more and then your empty. Now you can receive what he has for you and most of all peace cuz once you pour it all out, it's in his hands and then the peace of God surpasses your understanding. I don't understand or not get it out. So then we can hear God's voice more clearly. I hope and pray. So we're supposed to go good right on time. So we're going to switch now.

To hearing God's voice. This is all about hearing God's voice.

This is kind of fundamental, we probably all heard this stuff before, but why I'll tell you what, it's refreshing to go over it again. Cuz based on what we just left. By the way, this first session is probably the heavier theological load using some big words and like, oh my gosh, filters and philosophical by us and I don't know, just received that is like, we need God's help and we need to hear his voice more than ever. So we'll start with the fundamentals. And it starts with Genesis 1:1, restart it all the time. I remind myself all the time God made man, right in the image of God, he made them male and female God made him the scripture Genesis 1 verse 27 28. Don't worry about that. And then

No one 27-28 if you can put, don't don't worry about it. But anyway,

You spoke to him and bless them and he gave him instructions on how to live on the planet. He spent five days making, here's what you're going to do. Now be fruitful and multiply, and replenish the Earth. Take the minute of the fish that I just started talking and downloading instructions into this human would never been to Bible College. Wasn't baptized in the holy spirit yet he was a human, he wasn't a prophet that. Okay, your first job is to be a prophet and hear my voice your human. So when we talk about restoring the aspect of the voice of God in restoring our hearing and actually tell everybody, I know you can hear the voice of God. We're actually restoring our humanness To be human, is to hear the voice of your creator. So, Who are you your shape? Jesus said my sheep what? You're my voice. That was a prayer. Is your father? These sheep. I'm just praying. I'll hear my voice. No. Oh my sheep. Hear my voice. Voice of a stranger. They will follow the key is

Getting familiar with his his words how how God talks all. That's why the word is so important, so If we're sheep. Jesus Is Our Shepherd. My sheep. Hear my voice. God wants to talk to us. Obviously, he's a talking God. Psalm 139. We're going to also finish up in some of this. I'm just introducing this number going to actually do. I don't want to scare you off but we're going to actually do some hearing Later this afternoon, we're going to a little activation Workshop where we get the practice hearing, his voice and share with. Others is funnest. It's just amazing. It always encourages me, but in Psalm 139, we called the sound of creation, you know, you're fearfully and wonderfully made and all these wonderful things about who, who got made it to be. But I don't want David says this about the way God thinks we're 17 and 18, how precious? I'm sorry. Did I send you slides for this event for 17/18? How precious to me? Are your thoughts on God?

How precious are? Your thoughts to me, you're thinking about me God thinks about you, you know, know he said, how vast is the sum of them if I would come Thunder more than the sand?

Is that is that blow your mind? You'll just thinking about you all the time.

How many thoughts you ever tried accounts? And I mean you to pick up one handful, to take it all day with a pair of tweezers, He Loves Me, He Loves Me. He Loves Me. He looked no response are always that showed you the Majesty of God can always. He can think about every human he's ever created all the time Non-Stop and just go That's why you look at this, go while I'm fearfully wonderfully made. It's always thinking about you. We have to first of all, start there and face it. If I talk to you, you're going to talk back to me. Right. Cuz that's God made us that way. God speaks in many ways joke, 33. Talks about how? I mean dolphin speaking in a number of ways, He's not limited uses at we're. Going to get a list out in just a minute, but I love jokes 33. Verse 14, God speaks in one way and into the man does not perceive that's her problem speaking all the time.

He speaks in one way. He speaks into man, does not receive it in a dream, and a vision of the night when deep sleep falls on men, while they Slumber in their beds, then he opens the ears of men and terrifies them with warnings.

And so, our anchor is Proverbs 20 verse 12. Persona said, the hearing ear and the Seeing Eye, God made them both. It's not, it's not extra equipment. We have to acquire in a meeting, right? It's not something that only a certain people in the Kingdom, have spiritual ears. And spiritualized like genesis. When he made us that way, he made them, but he made ears to hear eyes to see. So, here's things we need to practice them keys. I would say learning to here, Do we not have fights with us? One time I must be.

Okay, sorry about that. All right, this is just easy. There's a nice acronym here.

Porky's, I would say to You have to practice hearing, okay? You train children at all? An animal dog or something. You know you have to train the here. It's not that they can't hear you. There's a little lawlessness in our children to. They just, they want to pretend, like they didn't hear you, but you have to train them with your voice. So the first is habit for here, H, Heaven, Isaiah 50, Verse 4 and 5.

Here's Isaiah, he's a prophet. He learned to hear the voice of God and so he's going to give us some of his tips. He said, the Lord has given me the tongue of those who are taught

interesting. A tongue that can be taught. We can teach our tongue. The problem is your tongue doesn't have ears. How do you teach your tongue? If it can't hear. What your heart? Can hear. And it's the bottles out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks. So I say the words given me the tongue of those were taught that I may know how to sustain with my words. Him, who is weary? What's the goal is not yourself. Out of acacian, is to build up other people and that word him, who is weary and that, we're delivering these weary from Battle. People are burned out worn-out tired, cuz they're in the battle, they don't even know who they're fighting. I think they're always fighting somebody in their family or fighting somebody else. It's spiritual warfare War, it's real, lawlessness. S is already at work. All said this is hundreds of years ago, so the war wears on people. So he says. So now I just was curious to hear how I learned to be able to teach my tongue to sustain other people with words, he goes morning by morning, he awakens. That's habit. Is a habitual connection with God and we all know this if you've been in a disciple for more than a week, you need to have time with God and he says, morning by morning, I've tried everything else. I tried afternoon by afternoon and evening by evening and it's never the same as morning by morning. You know why? Your your mind is less cluttered, it's fresh like a fresh canvas, right? Morning by morning, watch this, she awakens my ear.

And then interesting, he awakens my ear to hear. As those who are taught, he doesn't do, say wake up clamp, get up, you're late and wake me up to go do stuff. You wake me up to be with him first so he can teach me something keeps my tongue to say. So, here's a tip, I've been practicing. First thing when I wake up soon as I wake up, I'm I'm I'm banking on this that he's he's going to wake in my ear. And do something with my speech, but here's how I cheat at first thing I do is soon as I wake up.

I just do it. I just, it's my habit. What are you saying? I don't know. That's the beauty of it. 1st Corinthians 14:22 speaks in tongue speaks directly under God. I go directly to God first thing in the morning. It's like some of us go directly to our iPhone. We got to get online right? Yes I agree. Why would God first? Get your internet connection? Your internal connection on which God on First and the easiest way to do it you don't have to think It's a little white tongues. It's a it's a thinking pack, it's a prayer hack. You don't have to think positive. I pray with my spirit. My mind is unfruitful. I don't have to come up with anything not long. All I know is I'm turning on and I'm starting my day with speaking to God and yielding, my unruly member My Little Pony, I'm yielding that to the Holy Spirit. So then here's what Isaiah says, in verse 5, Isaiah 55, the Lord has opened my ear. Ice ice. I feel like ice to start out by speaking to got it from my spirit. And he can open my ear. And I love, I love his transparency and I was not rebellious. I turned not backward because you got to be careful what you here. First thing in the morning, God might change your plans or God. God might just give you an attitude adjustment. But if you just say God week in my ear, I want to hear what you have to say before. I even get out of bed. Sunday to go. Bye. Bye. That way. Then everything else will fall in place. Better is a habit. Secondly, the E on here. Hear expect the unexpected Expect the unexpected. So 1st Kings 19. Here's the training of another Prophet 1st Kings, 19.

Here's the great Elijah the great prophet write the words speaking to him. The cave. 1st Kings, 19 9 going to read this text is don't just speak and write it on purpose. Just listen to the process here of God interacting with the prophet. There, he Elijah came to a cave and lodged in it and behold the word of the Lord came to him and he said to him, what are you doing here? Like I think if you're more aware that God first always get your attention by asking you questions. I've had that a lot and I'm more aware of that than ever. It's like, he's The Question Master. Jesus was a master of a question. Jesus was a master of answering. A question with a question. What are you doing? You're Elijah. He said, well, I've been very jealous for the Lord, the god of hosts, for the people of Israel's forsaken, your Covenant, they throw up. This is supplication, he's pouring it out people. Do they throw down your ashes? They forsaken your Covenant and killed your profits with the sword. And I only, I am left a pity party. Can I tell you something? That get it out at supplication and they seek my life to take it away. I know what God said. It's a for-profit. Come here, son. Know.

Get back to work. He's hiding in a cave. After this great moment, all we got to send the rain down in the fires, all that stuff happens and then he goes in a kid is having a pity party and garden say they're they're, they're you to stay here, I'll send Ravens again and I'll I'll send food in angels and he said, get back to work. I go out and buy a great strong wind tore, the mountains and broke the piece of broken pieces of rocks before the Lord. The Lord was it in the Wind You gotta expect the unexpected. Here comes the wind. Must be God. It's going to cost to get in and Went. After the win was an earthquake. The Lord was not in the earthquake and after the earthquake, a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire. And after the fire,

Am I lied to hurt it? He wrapped his face in his cloak went out and stood at the entrance of the cave and behold there came a voice. There's a sound first sound of a whisper. And then there came a voice to him and said again, what are you doing here, Elijah? So I've been very jealous for the Lord of hosts for the people to show. They put it out yet. Son, I'm going to talk to you but we're Twins and earthquakes and fires. I'm just trying to get you to come down. Practicing the skills of still feel your heart. He gets it all again, children profits for the sword. Even I I I'm the only one left who seek my life to take it away, and then I said, go, never stop. He says go return on your way to the Wilderness of Damascus and when you arrive you. So annoying. Sometimes it to get out of your pity party. Go Minister and someone ghost the prophet, he's going to be king in jail, who is going to anoint, you and all the stuff going to happen.

Expect the unexpected. That's all I can say. Sometimes we just put God in a box and he cannot be boxed up. So expect the unexpected hea. Anticipate. Okay, anticipate, that God. Is going to speak. To me, what I'm hearing eventually is going to turn into the voice of God and I stayed that way because Samuel 1st, Samuel 3, great illustration of a young boy, who's a drop them off at the local daycare, never picked them up against an old priest. So, anyway,

And all he did was call his name Samuel and he thought it was. You like Siri runs has two or three times. Always check what that me that God is that my voice inside of me? What was that? And God will train is always a relational thing. He's built a relationship with Samuel. Pilot you like hot Eagles, this either you're having nightmares or something and then say McCarty goes now go back and say Speak Lord for your servant is not what listening, what was he listening to before he's living with his outer ears. He's listening. But he wasn't listening. Are you hearing me? He wasn't but anticipating. So what Eli did was put a anticipation in him? I'm going to hear from. You know, when you get up in the morning, you should have anticipated us going to speak to me. Not like, what? I can't wait to get to church next, Sunday. So God will speak to me. Speak to you right there, that anticipation, expectation is invitation. We have that saying, expectation, is invitation, you're inviting God into your little world. and then hear,

Meditation with habit, but if by reason of use, this is Hebrews 5 by recent abuse, you just using it. By reason of you so you have your senses exercised to discern going to need. Let me read it, Hebrews 5 11 through 14.

The writers starts up this way about this, we have so much to say and it's hard to explain watch this phrase since you have become dull of hearing. He's talking about obedience before that, but he said you become dull of hearing fruit. Do by this time, you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you. Again, the basic principles of the Oracles of God, you need milk. Not solid food for everyone who lives on milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness since he's a child. But solid food is for the mature, watch this phrase. For those who have their powers of discernment trained by constant practice to distinguish good from Evil. So another translation by reason of used you have your spiritual senses exercise musician musicians Your musician. Are you get better? A Reason abuse is practicing, practicing the presence in all these great books on that and all that. But I'm going to go back to that first Converse 11. It says you have become dull of hearing. Now, the word doll, the whole idea is this idea is No frost in the Greek and at least no push your not pressing in. If you're not trusting in with your hearing, you become dull of hearing, you're not pushing that pressing and then you expect everything just to come, all right? And then what you have to do, and that's not bad but he said you should be. You should be this level, he said, but now you need to go back and get the engineered and get back on that solid food and have your powers of discernment trained by constant practice to distinguish good from Evil. And again, we live in a world where there was a cop said they're calling good evil and evil good and only the spirit of God can help us. What's true? And what's not? So, Here we go. One more little list for a Hummer like list.

The steward, what you hear? Jesus address. First of all, take heed. What you hear? Take heed. What you were you going to Stuart what's coming into your ear gate? That's that's Mark, 424 To him who has given little in the store that he goes, much more will be given. So take heed what you hear. And then in Luke 8, 18, He says take heed. How you hear? We're going to talk about that in the next session. But in other words, what is the methodology of your hearing? Are you listening carefully? That's why I must take heed, listen. Carefully your method of hearing, but let me just give this list and will get it to you 10 ways. God can speak to you. Number one through circumstances. When you get to heaven, you can talk to Jonah. Jonah God, use circumstances because he was rebellious. So. Just use a circumstance, call the Fish. And in that circumstance, you decided I think I'm going to obey God. Anyway, number to True Council, that's the Book of Proverbs to counsel. God will speak to you through other people. That keeps you humble. You're not, we're not know what all's. My favorite is through peace. We already talked about Philippians for the peace of God, or Mount guard over your mind and then Colossians 3:15 should let peace be the Umpire, the ruler bribe. You always the Greek word, that means an official that officiates competitive games and decides who the winner is in America. We have American baseball umpire, he calls balls and Strikes, right? You're out. You're in make the final call an Umpire, makes the final call. And that is something I help people with and help myself with it. It's like if you don't have peace don't do anything yet. Got to wait for the piece to come and that comes through prayer for they'll be anxious. Don't freaking care, then pray supplicate. Give thanks in the middle of a predicament. But see that adjust your heart. So you can receive the peace of God. So peace. God, will speak through other people. The body of Christ. He may even speak through A non-Christian. You speak to a donkey speak to a non-Christian, right? Don't use other people as long as I've exempt ex21 dreams and all that speak. Sometimes visions of William samples, Joseph Peter Jacob.

Just your thoughts. You think? What do you mean? That's where we battle often. Does that mean it was that got right. And I've got the spot and that's what we say. How precious are your thoughts to me. I try to come. I can't there's so many so that the top artists Discerning God's thoughts in my thoughts, right? So, in Matthew 1:20, I'm just going to just read this out for you.

This is where the Lord came. I don't understand it too much. So Joseph. Okay, this is Mary's husband. Big adjustment unwilling to put her to shame resolved to divorce her quietly. That's some thoughts going on here, right? As he considered these things, the Lord appeared to him in a dream. Saint Joseph son of David, do not fear to take me as your wife. I just, I just love the fact that sometimes in our pain during and then our decision making, we can expect God to come Just don't exclude him from your thought life. And so thoughts, natural manifestations, there's tons of them nature Thunder. All kinds of things Romans 10 about God making creation.

What's that one time when the Holy Spirit came to do the Suns? Play the Thunder of Gideon. Balaam's, donkey Supernatural. Obviously, the Bible will always speak here. Write faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word and then we just said it but it's still Small Voice, that still Small Voice. So these are some things can't be, careful, pay attention, why Satan? Also speaks that's we got what we have competing voices there. Many voices out there and Satan is the prince of the power of the air and he rules the airwaves. That's why there's so much bad around this stuff. It's called The Prince of the power of the air words travel from your mouth to someone's ear through Airwaves. And they can get corrupted and God's Not The Only One broadcasting. A lot of channels out there. So even your own thoughts, have a voice. Sometimes it's the loudest voice. You listen to. We need the Holy Spirit regulating from in here. That's why I said if I don't know the meaning of The Voice. It's like a foreign tongue to me, so I give you a quick example. And what will take a coffee break not too long ago? I was some My office is in the basement with basements in America. A lot of basements Florida, you don't have any. So I think we pray for when we move to North Carolina bike week and I just done something. Okay, I'm going to confess. I done something stupid anybody in the stripper club with me, and I'm a card-carrying member lifetime member of the stupid club and do something stupid. So, I'm going down to my office. And inside, I'm going to let you know, I said, you're such an idiot. I just have like that. I'm just like, and you know what, I heard immediately, I don't call you that that it was slightly Stern, wasn't yelling at me, but it was very corrective. I don't call you, then I heard it's so quick. I knew it was not me and I know I looked and it wasn't my wife when anybody else I'm all alone, going down the staircase. You're such an idiot, I don't call you. Then it literally I stopped.

Father. Corrected me because my own voice was condemning me. Sarah on voice is loud sometimes. And that's where the enemy wants to come in and just rehearse your failures and who he thinks you are such an idiot. I want either anymore, Lord, we're going in it, but we can hear and we will hear in a cluttered world as we do this, humble introduction, but glad you're here. This is my actual training on hearing God's voice in a cluttered world. It's pretty vital. We really need this. So let me pray. And then we're going to take a coffee break, come back. So thank you. Lord, for teaching us through the Holy Spirit, we want to be like Isaiah, the Lord has given us, poems that are taught teach our tongues to our hearts awakened, our ears to hear, and those who are taught and we teaching the teaching gifting of the Holy Spirit, be not only through my voice, but in our ears together as we hear you, Hope your glory in Jesus name. Amen.
