Ignorance is optional. When it comes to the things of God ignorance is optional. We live in a world, and really, have always lived in a world, but especially how, where ignorance is optional. One of the burdens of my heart as a pastor is looking out into the world and seeing all of the ignorance that knowing that we have to work, live, and play in the midst of it. Sometimes the ignorance is so prevalent I will jokingly say to people “google it” because that’s how easy it is to come across information. Just google it. While I’m teaching at work google it. While I’m preaching, “google it”. Even myself, when I’m teaching bible study and I need to find a scripture real quick that I can’t remember I’ll google it. Ill search it up because not knowing is optional. That being said, with all of the information available. You can’t google everything. There will be some situations in your life where google won’t have the answer(nor momma, daddy, friend, boss). These are the times when only through the Spirit of God will you be able to find the answers you need, and only through the Spirit might you know the answers already.

Paul’s assumption is that those who have it are mature. Only those have become beneficiaries of the grace of God through salvation can understand the wisdom of God.
Human rulers and systems missed it — they crucified the Lord of glory.

Revealed.
We have received the Spirit so we can understand what God has freely given
True wisdom is Spirit-taught, not man-taught. Not the spirit of this world but the Spirit who is from God.
We might know the things that have been freely given. It is by revelation through the Sprit of God that we are able to know what we have. That’s what it says.

The natural person (without the Spirit) can’t accept spiritual truth — it seems foolish.
The spiritual person discerns all things with God’s perspective.
TV when we moved. Had a nice new TV but no access to the picture because there was no connection.
We have “the mind of Christ” — the capacity to think, see, and live in line with Him.
I don’t have to ask WWJD, because we know because we have His mind. It doesn’t mean we know everything He knows, it means we can operate in the kindness and love, and grace of Christ’s mind. Therefore, because I have his mind:
I know If i seek ye first
Not to worry
I will never be alone
I can speak to mountains and mountains move
I can pray to the father in Jesus name and he answers me
I can do greater works that
I all my needs are met according to his riches in glory
I know God so loved the world
