Discipleship Pathway: Give

We’ve been working through pathway to making healthy disciples. Gather, Grow, Give, Go.

Gather - come together for worship, fellowship. Grow - learning, developing as a follower of Jesus. These first two are mostly consumption. Today we move to contribution.

Giving - using our time, tithe, talents, and gifts for the glory of God and the work of the church.

3 Essential Truths:

Gifts are assigned with grace by Spirit. Rom 12:, 1 Cor. 12, 1 Peter 4:10)

God gives gifts according to His perfect will.

Gifts are accessed by faith. (Rom. 12:3

Our gifts require that we rely on Him.

Gifts are activated by love.

Our gifts are for the work of the church. (Eph. 4:12, 1 Peter 4:10-11)

Serving Gifts: service/helps, leading/administrating, giving, mercy, faith, discernment, shepherding
