My God-given assignment for this season is clear and that is to develop believers in Christ that become Resilient Kingdom Citizens or in resilient followers of Christ.
What does the term Resilient mean? A person that able to withstand or quickly recover from difficult situations.
In other words, people that are able to bounce and keep going, thrive, and fulfill their purpose need to full of Zoe_ the God kind of life!
Demonstration a full ball vs flat ball ( like ball has to full to back out lives has to full to bounce back from a crisis.
As we good through this series of becoming resilient Kingdom Citizens we will share and I pray get an impartation of one Biblical characteristic, fruit, and trait that all resilient disciples have. This well _ Power of focusing on God goodness!

🔥 Introduction

In a world saturated with negativity, fear, and division, Kingdom citizens are called to live differently. Resilience isn’t just about enduring hardship—it’s about thriving through it by focusing on the good. The good in God, the good in others, and the good in what He’s doing—even when we can’t see it yet.
The is actually more good thing happening in this world than bad things. BAD things tend to get more attending.

🧭 1. The Power of Perspective

Resilience begins in the mind. What we focus on shapes how we respond.
Paul, writing from prison, urges believers to —think on what is good. NOT on evil, bad, hurt.
Kingdom citizens are not blind to pain, but they choose to see through the lens of hope.
“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” – Romans 12:2

Betrayed, enslaved, imprisoned, lied on—yet he never lost sight of God’s hand.
After years Joseph became second in charge of Egypt reunited with his brothers, who left him in pit to die he said: “You meant it for evil, but God meant it for good.”
Joseph’s resilience came from his ability to focus on the God’s goodness in every season.

David focused on benefits of God!

🌍 3. Modern Examples of Kingdom Resilience

🙌 Corrie ten Boom was a remarkable Dutch Christian woman whose life became a powerful testimony of faith, forgiveness, and resilience during one of history’s darkest chapters.

She hid the Jews during WWII and betrayed by a Dutch friend
Survived a Nazi concentration camp after hiding Jews during WWII.
Lost her family, but chose forgiveness and joy.
She famously said: “Joy runs deeper than despair.” Because she focus on the goodness of God

🙌 Luis Palau (Louis Palaw)

Luis Palau was a dynamic and globally influential Argentine-American Christian evangelist whose ministry spanned more than six decades. Often referred to as a spiritual heir to Billy Graham, Palau dedicated his life to spreading the gospel with clarity, compassion, and cultural relevance.
Battled cancer while continuing to preach the gospel with hope and joy.
Focused on the eternal impact of his ministry, not the pain of his diagnosis. Focused on the goodnes of God!

💡 4. How to Focus on the Good in Your Own Life

Practice Gratitude

Start each day by naming 3 things you’re thankful for.
Gratitude rewires your brain for joy.

Guard Your Inputs

Limit negativity—news, gossip, toxic conversations.
Fill your mind with Scripture, worship, and uplifting voices.

Speak Life

Your words shape your world. Choose to speak hope, not despair.
Encourage others, and you’ll find your own spirit lifted.

Remember the Bigger Story

God is always working for good—even when life feels broken.
Romans 8:28 isn’t just a verse—it’s a promise.

28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Focus on the goodness of God!

🎯 Conclusion: Resilience Is a Choice

To be a resilient Kingdom citizen is to choose joy over judgment, hope over hurt, and faith over fear. It’s not denial—it’s divine perspective. When we focus on the good, we reflect the heart of God and become beacons of light in a dark world.
“This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.” – Psalm 118:24
