🔥You Are His Treasure🔥

Matthew 13:36–43 , Then Jesus sent the multitude away and went into the house. And His disciples came to Him, saying, “Explain to us the parable of the tares of the field.” He answered and said to them: “He who sows the good seed is the Son of Man. The field is the world, the good seeds are the sons of the kingdom, but the tares are the sons of the wicked one. The enemy who sowed them is the devil, the harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are the angels. Therefore as the tares are gathered and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of this age. The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness, and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth. Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!
Matthew 13:44–46 ““Again, the kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and hid; and for joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field. “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking beautiful pearls, who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had and bought it.” (TPT)
🔥I want you to say, I am a child of God. I am His Treasure! say it again! that was weak! Say it again!

Introduction

Beloved, imagine with me for a moment the most valuable treasure on earth—a hidden chest of gold coins, a diamond so rare that kings would give their kingdoms for it, or a pearl so perfect it outshines every jewel in the world. Now think about the excitement of the one who discovers it. His heart leaps with joy, his mind races with anticipation, and he says within himself, “This is worth everything I have!”
This is the very picture Jesus paints in Matthew 13:44–46. For generations, many have thought this parable means we find Jesus as our treasure. And yes, He is our portion, our prize, our pearl. But Jesus said clearly that the field is the world (v. 38). He is not hidden—He came to seek and save the lost (Luke 19:10). Who then is the treasure in the field? Who is the pearl of great price? Beloved, it is you. It is me. We are the treasure worth redeeming.
Here lies the heart of the gospel: Jesus sold all He had, left the glory of Heaven, clothed Himself in flesh, and shed His sacred blood on Calvary to purchase you. He saw you when you were buried in sin, hidden by shame, overlooked by others, and He said, “You are worth it. I will give everything to make you Mine.”
This truth must pierce our hearts today: you are not an accident, you are not worthless, you are not forgotten—you are Christ’s treasure, His pearl, His joy. The very wounds of His body testify of your value. From His side flowed both blood and water, birthing His Church, His pearl of great price (John 19:34).
Beloved, Heaven’s kingdom realm is not about what you can give up for God—it is about what Christ gave up for you. And when you understand your worth in His eyes, it changes everything. You will stop living like a beggar and begin walking as His beloved. You will stop comparing yourself with others and rest in the truth that you are His unique, irreplaceable treasure.
This morning, let us step into this revelation: Jesus is the man who sold all, and you are the treasure He bought. He is the merchant who sought the pearl, and you are the pearl that cost Him His life. May the Holy Spirit open our hearts to see our worth through the cross, for once you know how priceless you are to Him, you will never doubt His love again.
🔥 Would you like me to also add a short prophetic declaration-style paragraph (like “The Spirit of the Lord says…”) to flow with this introduction before launching into Point 1? It could make the opening even more alive with love and power.

Point 1: The Hidden Treasure Reveals Our Value to God

Scripture: Matthew 13:44 ““Again, the kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and hid; and for joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.”
Jesus calls us His treasure, hidden in the world, yet worth redeeming. From the foundation of the world, God already chose us in Christ.
Think of a junkyard where everything looks worthless. Yet someone sees an old rusted car, restores it, and suddenly it’s priceless. That is how Jesus sees you—others may overlook you, but He sees eternal value.
Scripture: Ephesians 1:4–5 “just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will,”
You are not hidden because you are worthless; you are hidden because you are precious.

Point 2: Jesus Paid the Ultimate Price for You

Scripture: Philippians 2:6–8 “who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.”
He left Heaven, humbled Himself, and shed His blood. He sold all—His life—to redeem us.
Imagine someone pawning off their most valuable possession to rescue a loved one from captivity. That is exactly what Jesus did.
Scripture: 1 Corinthians 6:20 “For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.”
The cross is proof that your soul is worth the blood of God’s Son.

Point 3: The Joy of Redemption

Scripture: Hebrews 12:2 “looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.”
Jesus endured the cross “for the joy set before Him”—that joy was you! He rejoices over you with singing.
A mother in the delivery room endures pain but rejoices the moment she holds her baby. That’s the joy Jesus had when He redeemed you.
Zephaniah 3:17 “The Lord your God in your midst, The Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.””
You are not a burden—your salvation brought joy to the heart of Christ.

Point 4: The Pearl of Great Price—Uniquely You

Scripture: Matthew 13:45–46 ““Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking beautiful pearls, who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had and bought it.”
Pearls are formed through wounds in oysters. We are Christ’s pearl, birthed from His wounded side at Calvary.
Jewelers treasure pearls because no two are the same. You are unique and irreplaceable in Christ’s eyes.
Scripture: Song of Solomon 3:6 “Who is this coming out of the wilderness Like pillars of smoke, Perfumed with myrrh and frankincense, With all the merchant’s fragrant powders?”
Isaiah 43:4 “Since you were precious in My sight, You have been honored, And I have loved you; Therefore I will give men for you, And people for your life.”
Your wounds do not disqualify you; they make you His priceless pearl.

Point 5: The Exchange of the Cross

Scripture: 2 Corinthians 5:21 “For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.”
He gave up everything so you could gain everything. The righteous One became sin so the sinner could become righteous.
A judge removes his robe, pays the fine for the guilty, and then clothes the criminal with his own robe. That is Christ at the cross.
Isaiah 53:5 “But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.”
What He gave up is far greater than anything you will ever surrender.

Point 6: Your Life Is Now Hidden in Christ

Scripture: Colossians 3:3–4 “For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.”
Just as the treasure was re-hidden, your new life is hidden with Christ in God. You are secure, untouchable, and sealed by His Spirit.
Like valuables locked in a vault—safe from thieves—your soul is kept in the safest place: in Christ.
John 10:28–29 “And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand.”
Stop living in fear—you are hidden in the safest place in the universe: Jesus.

Point 7: Living as His Treasure

Scripture: 1 Peter 2:9 “But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;”
As God’s chosen treasure, we are called to live out His glory, shining His light in the world.
A priceless diamond doesn’t hide in the dark; it shines under the light. We must display His glory in how we live.
Titus 2:14 “who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.”
You are not just redeemed—you are commissioned to shine as His treasure in the earth.

Conclusion

Beloved, today you’ve heard the truth of the Kingdom: you are His treasure. You are the hidden jewel in the field, the pearl of great price for which Jesus gave everything. The cross wasn’t just a transaction—it was a declaration of your worth. Don’t let the enemy whisper lies of unworthiness or shame. Don’t let your past define you. The price has already been paid in full.
When you walk out of this place, walk with your head lifted high, not in pride but in gratitude, knowing you are loved beyond measure. Heaven rejoices over you, and Jesus delights in you as His joy. Your life is hidden in Him, and now you are called to shine as His priceless treasure in the earth.

Altar Call Invitation

Beloved, as we close in prayer, I sense the Holy Spirit tugging on hearts. Jesus said the Kingdom is like a man who found treasure and gave everything for it. That treasure is you. He already paid the price with His blood, but the question is—will you let Him claim what He purchased?
Maybe you’ve felt hidden, overlooked, or worthless. Maybe you’ve wandered far, thinking God could never see value in you. But today, the Father is calling you home. You are His treasure, and He wants you as His own.
If you have never surrendered your life to Jesus, or if you’ve drifted and need to rededicate your heart, now is your moment. Don’t wait. Don’t hesitate. Step out of the shadows and into His marvelous light. The treasure has been found—today, let Jesus make you His own.
Come to the altar. Come as you are. He gave all for you—will you give your all to Him?

Closing Prayer

“Father, we stand in awe of Your love today. Thank You for sending Jesus, who left Heaven’s glory, sold all, and shed His blood to purchase us as Your treasure. Lord Jesus, we honor the price You paid at Calvary. Forgive us for ever doubting our worth in Your eyes. Holy Spirit, seal this truth in our hearts—that we are chosen, redeemed, and hidden in Christ. Empower us to live boldly as Your priceless possession, shining Your light in this world. Let our lives reflect the beauty of the treasure You saw in us. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.” 🔥
