Reasons to Rejoice

The truth will be revealed (26-27), Our Lord is greater than our enemies (28), We are precious to our Heavenly Father (29-31)

Christ will acknowledge us if we acknowledge Him. (Verses 32-33)

Romans 10:9–10 “because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.” (Romans 1:16)
Matthew 7:20 “Thus you will recognize them by their fruits.”
Romans 8:34 “Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died—more than that, who was raised—who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us.” (see Hebrews 7:25)
Christ will deny those who deny Him.
Titus 1:16 “They profess to know God, but they deny him by their works. They are detestable, disobedient, unfit for any good work.”
1 John 2:19 “They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us. But they went out, that it might become plain that they all are not of us.”

Christ is worth it. (Verses 34-37)

Following Christ will bring division and conflict.
Ephesians 6:12 “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.”
See 2 Corinthians 10:3-5...
Knowing and following Christ is more important than anything else.
See Philippians 3:8-10...
Psalm 16:11 “You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.”
