Friends, hear me today—not my words, but the Word of God.
The Bible says in Psalm 139:14:
“I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well.”
God did not make a mistake when He created you. He knit you together in your mother’s womb. He gave you life, value, and dignity. You are not an accident—you are made in His image (Genesis 1:27).
But here is the truth: although God made us wonderfully, every one of us has sinned. The Bible says in Romans 3:23:
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
That includes me, that includes you, that includes every person here today. And because God is holy and just, He cannot simply ignore sin. Romans 6:23 warns us:
“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Yes, God is a just Judge. He will not celebrate sin, He will not overlook rebellion, whether it’s pride, lust, greed, hatred, or immorality. But that same verse tells us of God’s mercy—the gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ.
Listen to the hope: John 3:16 says,
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”
That means no matter your past, no matter your struggle, no matter your identity—God’s love is greater. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, died on the cross for sinners like you and me, and He rose from the grave to give new life.
The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 6:9–11:
“Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.”
Did you hear that? “Such were some of you.” God has already saved men and women from every background, every sin, every identity—and He can save you too. He can wash you, sanctify you, and make you new.
Jesus Himself says in Matthew 11:28:
“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”
Friend, true rest isn’t found in pride, parades, or redefining ourselves. True rest is found in Jesus Christ—when you turn from sin, trust Him as Savior, and follow Him as Lord.
So today, I plead with you: repent, turn from sin, and believe in Jesus. God made you. God doesn’t make mistakes. But God is also just—He will judge sin. Yet in His mercy, He offers forgiveness through His Son.
The Bible says, “Seek the Lord while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near.” (Isaiah 55:6).
Friend, the time is now. Turn to Jesus Christ—and live.
