Reasons to Rejoice

The life I gain will be much better than the one I lose. (Verses 38-39)

You must let go of your old life to experience the new life in Christ.

Mark 8:36 “For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his soul?”

It is possible to get everything you hope for in this life and lose everything in the next. It is possible to lose everything in this life and gain everything in the life to come.

Philippians 1:21 “For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.”

John 17:3 “And this is eternal life, that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.”

Psalm 84:10 “For a day in your courts is better than a thousand elsewhere. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of wickedness.”

Christ will reward you for your service and sacrifice for Him.
