Shabbat shalom.

Good Shabbos.

so, This week's Torah moment. I'm going to focus on the feast days because they're coming up the fall feasts days. I've been working in the feast days for probably about 15 years or so and when I first stood a full cycle of four years, I fell in love and This is my my summation which is very hard to do in 10 minutes but it's meant to be encouraging and I hope it is. I know it. Sometimes it can be intimidating because, you know, you go to one of these Services. You don't know what to expect and there's quite a lot of Hebrew and but I can assure you, it is a tremendous blessing that has been for me and each and every year, I continue to learn something new and I know that the depth of the feasts are so so profound that there's always something to learn as we grow in our relationship with the Lord. So for this week's Torah moment again, I'll be talking about the upcoming fall feasts, and all the pieces. Matter of fact, these days are called the moedim of the Torah AMOLED is in its singular. Form is generally referred to as a place of meeting such as the film would, the Tabernacle of meeting a sacred appointment and an appointed time, I like to think of it as a space within time where we have a place to meet God. The word moed is first. Used in Genesis 14. It is used to describe the purpose for the lights in the heavens above. They are four signs. What would deem days in years. The Modi more designated in the spring and in the fall. In the spring, they are for the Passover first fruits, the Feast of unleavened bread and shovel out the fall feasts. There were three, Yom teruah Yom Kippur and Sukkot. They represents the past present and the future of his Redemptive plan for all creation group in the spring. And in the fall, the moedim challenge is a challenge of challenges are very busy, schedules. They inconveniently interrupt the busiest, season of Our Lives. Outdoor enthusiasts. Might notice that most activity in the forest water and in the sky or during the morning hours when the sun is coming up. And in the evening, when the sun is going down, these are transitional periods. Just like spring and fall where most living things are preparing for the next season of either cold, heat light or dark. Which are all determined by The Luminaries in the heavens above. It is not good to be so busy with the things of this world it is during these transitional times that our focus is most likely to drift into worldly concerns and set of heavenly realities Colossians 3:2, says set your mind. On the things that are above not on the things that are on earth. We have a natural desire to attach her efforts to preparations. If we venture into the heat of the desert, we prepare our journey with plenty of water. If we venture out into the cold and icy snow, we prepare by wearing many layers of warm clothes. But how much more during these busy Preparatory moments? Should we prepare ourselves spiritually? During our busiest moments, God puts moedim, on our calendars to encourage us to stop and prioritize, our relationships with him. And with each other, Without our love for God, or for each other. We toil in vain as it says in Ecclesiastes. It's like chasing the wind You may have heard that you cannot truly experience the joy of Sukkot until you experience the solemness of Yom Kippur. It is also true that you cannot fully understand one appointed day without experiencing all of them. The fee stays together till one, continuous story of God's salvation to the world and one without the other is an incomplete picture. It is like a note without a melody or a beats without a rhythm. Let us begin with Passover. The first of the spring fees, this is a time to acknowledge our need for a savior because slowly and overtime like boiling Frogs, We bargained our freedoms and became slaves in there. For God, heard our cries Sanctified us and delivered us into the Wilderness. His word to be redeemed as a people. The seven days after Passover are known as the Feast of unleavened bread or the Passover week. The matzo teaches us but as Believers in the body we must remain humble and full of grace. Salvation is given freely so that those who grasp it may be, May Reveal Your Shoe it to the world. The Feast of firstfruits also occurs during this time, the first of what we have is designated as a complete offering to God. First fruits, demonstrates. The power of resurrection and eternal life when we are one in him. The journey continues to the 4th spring holiday of Shavuot by counting the Omer for seven weeks from the day after Passover. On shovel will we arrive at the foot of the Mountain Gods? Government travel boat is a focal point of all the modem. It is here that God gave the Torah. It is here that you sure brought to us the Holy Spirit. Each of the witness revealed as one, I don't know if God the Lord is one. So after a long summer, we awake to The Cry of the shofar telling us that Yom teruah is here. It begins this Monday evening as the first of the unfulfilled prophetic feast days. The blast of the shofar. Brings us back to the mountain. These are the days. When we rededicate ourselves to God's will through repentance and prayer, they foretell of my size return. Declaring he is, King over all the Earth.

Going through is also called yomeddine the day of judgement. How many of us believe that we live in a world that needs righteous judgement? My man. But let us not be Sinners. Judging other centers, for sending differently. We're all guilty, and we almost answers the one true God. how many can say I am guilty and I wish to be judged Only when we realize the judgment is for the purification of our souls, we can begin to understand how important it is for us. Judgment is Deliverance for repentance. The word repentance in Hebrew is teshuva and at the root of its meaning, it's a message of coming home. How long it takes to get home? Depends on how far we have strayed. So the gates of the Heavenly Courts, open up on your own for Roula and fortunately, we do not stand before the judge alone. A defense attorney has been appointed for us with the assurance that we will survive the trial. The attorney's name is Yeshua. The purification process of repentance continues for 10 days between Yom, teruah and Yom Kippur. These are known as the 10 days of all. An extended amount of time to ask forgiveness from others. And from God,

Then comes Yom Kippur the day of atonement. The most holy day, it arrives as a solemn day. This is it, this is our opportunity be closer to God than any other day of the year, standing in his glorious light. We are fully exposed. This is our last chance to thoroughly search, our souls in a chief complete repentance before the last trumpet sounds. Cuz at the end of the day, the gate is closed. Just as one day, the Gate of Our Lives will also be closed. However, 1st Corinthians 15 says, we shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed in a moment in the twinkling of an eye. At the last trumpet for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised Incorruptible and we shall be changed. 1st John 1:7 says, if we walk in the light as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another and the blood of Yoshua Messiah. His son cleanses us from all sin. By the blood of Messiah. Our Heavenly Advocate, we have been made pure Yom Kippur intensifies. This fact Each year, it's like being born again. Again. And again, every year. 4 days later, we rejoice in the joy of the world. There's no greater celebration on Earth than during the week of Sukkot. We build a sukkah under the stars and we dwell together, singing songs of praise and Jubilation for what he has done. For us, our cups, runneth over with his salvation, the salvation of the Lord, as we declare to the world that our god reigns forever and ever, hallelujah. Hallelujah. In conclusion. The moedim are special times that God has set aside for us to walk in along with the weekly Sabbath. They are the rhythm of his voice. That spoke all things into existence. They were a blessing to all who partake. So, if you can, please join us for the feasts, if you are able. But most importantly be encouraged to spend time with each other, spend time with friends, spend time with family, and spend time with God, during the busiest season of Our Lives.
