In Ephesians 2:11-12, Paul had pointed out where the Gentiles were spiritually before Jesus Christ saved them. Now, through the blood of Jesus Christ, their disadvantage spiritually in comparison to the Jews has been completely removed.
Now in verse 14. He points out what their relationship to Christ Jesus and others should be.
