1. Accept responsibility -
1. Accept responsibility -
Blessed to be a Blessing
Accept responsibility.
Are we someone who can be counted on? Or not?
Are we someone who does a great job…or the minimum?
Do we care about the consequences of our actions or just our own self-interest?
Who we choose to be affects more than just us. It ripples out into the world.
Responsibility is heavy but people who accept it and wont make excuses, will find solutions and build muscle by bearing it’s weight.
You won't wait for change you'll become the change.
Luke 16:10-12.
Luke 12:48. Much is given. Much is required
2. Grow yourself
2. Grow yourself
1 Timothy 4:15 “Practice these things, immerse yourself in them, so that all may see your progress.”
When you grow, you add value to everything you are a part of
Add value to your greatest asset. YOU. You are the asset. Read great books. Keep learning.
Invest in yourself by spending time with GOATS, giant slayers and legacy builders.
IF YOU WANT TO BE WISE RUN WITH THE WISE
3. Learn to solve bigger problems -
3. Learn to solve bigger problems -
Proverbs 22:29 “Do you see a man skillful in his work? He will stand before kings; he will not stand before obscure men.”
your income, your influence, your impact is in direct proprtion to the problems you can solve for others.
Problems are job security for the wise.
Problems reveal Gods greatness in you to the world.
See solutions where others see problems. See a need and meet it. See someone’s need and help them to meet it.
4. Serve others with excellence, love, and integrity.
4. Serve others with excellence, love, and integrity.
Find ways to give more than you get and soon you'll be getting more than you give.
You can have anything you want in life if you help enough people get what they want. When you serve others with excellence, love, wisdom, and add massive value to their lives you become someone who can’t be ignored.
When those you serve feel they came away with more than they gave they’ll tell their friends. If someone compels you to go one mile go the second mile. Serve with such devotion that others feel your absence.
27 and whoever would be first among you must be your slave, 28 even as the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
5. Build strong support systems.
5. Build strong support systems.
Coals stay on fire when they’re grouped together.
And though a man might prevail against one who is alone, two will withstand him—a threefold cord is not quickly broken.
No man succeeds alone. Nobody does anything great on their own. We have all received assistance. Our network is our net worth.
Build strong relationships by investing in others. Honor those who have helped you.
If your vision only involves you it is too small.
