Know What You Have On Your Side

Knowing what’s on your side can mean the difference between life and death!

Romans 10:17 KJV 1900

17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Ephesians 6:17 KJV 1900

17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

The only way to defeat the enemy is with an offensive attack

The sword is the only piece of the armor that is used for offensive attack. That is it’s primary function.

You can attack with any piece of the armor, but it won’t benefit you as much.

There’s more work involved in using any other piece of the armor for an offensive attack...why?

The sword is provided by The Spirit of God

A spiritual enemy calls for a spiritual weapon

You can’t win spiritual battles being carnal

Notice that the sword is attached by the belt, the belt of truth. So our sword must be truth also

The sword of the Spirit is the (rhema) word of God

Rhema is not just the written word, but it’s what’s revealed to you

It’s the word you know!

So then, you’re not just carrying my bible around quoting scriptures: but rather; You actually know what you’re talking about. It’s real! It has become life in you!
