I. We Are To Be Doers, Not Just Hear, But Reading God’s Word

A. You Deceive Yourselves, If You Aren’t a Doer of the Word of God, the Bible

James 1:22 “22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.”

B. Not the Hearer of the Law Are Justified, But Those Who Are Doers of the Law

Romans 2:13 “13 (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.”

C. One Who is a Doer is Like a Man That Beholds Himself in a Glass and Forgets What He Looks Like

James 1:23–25 “23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: 24 For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. 25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.”

Psalm 119:115 “115 Depart from me, ye evildoers: For I will keep the commandments of my God.”

D. Isiah Said That God Will Rise Up Against the House of the Evildoers, and Those Who Work Iniquity: wickedness, Specifically an Idol

Isaiah 31:2 “2 Yet he also is wise, and will bring evil, And will not call back his words: But will arise against the house of the evildoers, And against the help of them that work iniquity.”
