Community questions
Walking in the Spirit is something all believers need to do. Describe to one another how you seek to do this and how you test whether you are or not.
Fighting sin is something we are always going to have to deal with (vs. 17). How is seeking to be led by the Spirit superior to relying on works of the law in our fight against sin?
Surrendering to the flesh and identifying fleshly activity as not a problem are almost equivalent to not being a believer. How might you help someone see this if they want to defend fleshly behavior as ok?
Comparison and pride often result in us provoking and envying one another. Keeping in step with the Spirit is the opposite of that. How practically is it the opposite of that?
Bearing one another’s burdens in the context of fighting sin is fulfilling the law of Christ. Why is this vital within the church? Why should we also test our own work? How can you be a help to someone this week?
