Lk 10:1-24. Craig Thompson. Jesus healed the sick, cast out demons and raised the dead all while teaching about the kingdom of God. In our passage we see that Jesus sends the disciples out to minister in the same way to others in order to make him known. My challenge is to think about how do we go about making disciples today and, is it the way Jesus taught? By caring for physical needs maybe even miraculously, by sharing food and community and by sharing stories from the Bible to teach about the kingdom of God we will follow Jesus pattern for making disciples more closely.
