A Walk in the Spirit

God woke me up in the early morning hours on Tuesday giving me this word!
Before I Give this I want to ask :
That all in this room allow their defensive walls to come down for the sake of allowing our Great God to minister to the areas of your heart that have been locked away.
There are some of you in this room that have cried out to God, with a plead that you can not share with others.
All because you have to decided not to expose the one that has caused you such pain.
Psalm 142 ESV
A Maskil of David, when he was in the cave. A Prayer. 1 With my voice I cry out to the Lord; with my voice I plead for mercy to the Lord. 2 I pour out my complaint before him; I tell my trouble before him. 3 When my spirit faints within me, you know my way! In the path where I walk they have hidden a trap for me. 4 Look to the right and see: there is none who takes notice of me; no refuge remains to me; no one cares for my soul. 5 I cry to you, O Lord; I say, “You are my refuge, my portion in the land of the living.” 6 Attend to my cry, for I am brought very low! Deliver me from my persecutors, for they are too strong for me! 7 Bring me out of prison, that I may give thanks to your name! The righteous will surround me, for you will deal bountifully with me.
David was in a place that some of you in this room find yourself as well!
There is some of you who right now are unsettled in your soul at just the mentioning of this word.
You need to understand that God is here right now in this moment for you!
This is a moment where God wants you to know he Has Seen and Heard!
Romans 8:18 ESV
18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us.
It WILL be Worth IT!!!
Romans 8:22–26 ESV
22 For we know that the whole creation has been groaning together in the pains of childbirth until now. 23 And not only the creation, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies. 24 For in this hope we were saved. Now hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for what he sees? 25 But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience. 26 Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.
I want to read a passage and for everyone in here who is carrying an unspoken burden, one that has even at times pulled you away from your confidence that God is for you!
Are you willing to be HELPED today?
Romans 8:27–33 ESV
27 And he who searches hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God. 28 And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. 29 For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. 30 And those whom he predestined he also called, and those whom he called he also justified, and those whom he justified he also glorified. 31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things? 33 Who shall bring any charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies.
Even bad works for our God when we allow God to heal the broken areas of our hearts!
If He did not withhold His Son from us why would He withhold healing here today from you?
Question is are you the one withholding, yourself from healing?
If you really believe He is for you than allow Him to be here this moment!
Romans 8:34–39 ESV
34 Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died—more than that, who was raised—who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? 36 As it is written, “For your sake we are being killed all the day long; we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.” 37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Are you SURE that there is nothing that will keep you from the LOVE of God? Including the secret pain you carry?
Who is there to condemn you here today if Christ does not?
Time to quit allowing the evil words spoken against you to define you!
As the Spirit of God is leading you to surrender this morning; know this; it is for your certain GOOD!
Romans 8:14 ESV
14 For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.
This is a moment where as we are instructed in Eph 4:30
Ephesians 4:30–31 ESV
30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. 31 Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice.
Let us not here today Grieve the Holy Spirit by holding onto the things that hinder us.
Today is a day of letting go and of Healing!
Close Romans 8:31
Romans 8:31 ESV
31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
If God did not withhold His son why would He without anything good for you now?
Do you have enough faith to allow God to heal the secret cry of your heart here today?
When we resist God’s Healing we resist the leading of the Holy Spirit!!
