When do we think this will happen?

Somewhat depends on how the campaign goes. If all goes well and God provides what’s needed, I think we are a few years out.

When will we be submitting for the conditional use? (End of Oct if I remember right)

If all goes well… We’d plan to start moving dirt…

If all goes well… we can see moving in sometime around…

NOTE: The campaign will have a lot to say about this.

Who are we using:

No contract in place as of yet, but many on our team have experience with Girding construction… as the GC.

They will allow us to do some sweat equity in ways many others will not. This could provide significant savings.

They have also been incredibly generous in offering us free guidance and advice up to this point, with

Lots of believers… and our main contact is a very strong Christian.

Cost:

Phase 1 is pretty minimalistic in its approach and paves the way for the main building to be more affordable when that time comes.

This is what’s required to get us on our land. It’s really expensive to build.

Phase 1… infrastructure, parking, building… (does not count conditional use and all things leading up to)

Between $5-7 Million

Depending on the cost of materials (fluctuating)

Depending on what we find along the way (unknowns)

Depending on how much we can and are willing to do ourselves.

To me, speaking on my own, not as one of the elders… from the very beginning, the number that stood out to me as the goal of this financial campaign was $5 Million.

Is Northside willing to take out a loan?

That short answer is yes, but I’d make (3)qualifiers.

The elders do not have the authority to do that without a congregational vote of NS membership. I couldn’t encourage you enough to become a member if you're not.

A construction loan in view of campaign commitments is a possibility.

I don’t think NS elders are willing to put NS in the position of a monster mortgage that will upend ministry for years to come.

I personally believe there are ways around that…

I personally believe that God is going to provide it one way or another through His people.

3-year-long Capital Campaign to raise the funds… that starts on Sept 21st.

If this is what God is calling us to do, it’s going to take all of us.

This is a financial campaign..

What might God be calling you to do and give over the next three years to help turn this vision into a reality?

This is a God sized project… and it's going to require courageous faithfulness. We are asking you to pray… to seek Him… To listen to what He says… and have the courage to follow and obey where He leads.

My wife and I are currently doing this very thing…

On Oct 12th, you’ll have the opportunity to do a few things…

To give a first fruit offering… pray about it… and bring your best.

Make a commitment (prayerfully) as to what you plan to give over the next three years…

Monthly, annually, however you want to do it.

Consider what other sorts of gifts you might be able to give

Consider others you know that may be interested in investing in what it is we see God doing in and through Northside

I know it’s a big ask.

I’m doing this myself and have a list of about 10 people I will be connecting with in the near future.
