1.) Warm up and Testimony:
1.) Warm up and Testimony:
Not the typical grew up in a christian home story
Gave my life to Jesus when I was 22 years old
“Jesus, I’ll do whatever you ask me to do.” - Been my motto since
Served in kids, youth, and young adults at MStar in Quakertown. U.S. Missionary with Youth Alive since 2023.
2.) What is Youth Alive?
2.) What is Youth Alive?
Youth Alive is all about students sharing Jesus.
4 Components: Campus Missionary, YA Movements, Outreach, Prayer Mobilization
Why is the mission important? Just look at our culture.
Being a U.S. Missionary = Working along side the local church here Pennsylvania and Delaware to catalyze a movement.
3.) The Gospel Foundation:
3.) The Gospel Foundation:
Simple way to share the gospel = Alive in 5. We don’t need to over complicate this.
Why is the good news of the gospel for every student? John 3:16-17
“For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him.
4.) Boldness and Living it Out:
4.) Boldness and Living it Out:
For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.
What’s more important; how you feel/look in a moment or your peers eternal destination? The most unloving thing we can do is not share the gospel of Jesus Christ. I say this in love, but we need to get over ourselves. It’s not about us. It’s about the good news of Christ being spread and Him being glorified.
Sydeny Young (Morning Star Fellowship Quakertown) = One bible club with five students to the club being an elective at school that 125 students have signed up for.
There are a lot of practical ways (one on one conversations, bible clubs, prayer, etc.) but what you need to first stop doing is buying into all your excuses on why you can’t share your faith. Until you have won that battle in your mind and heart, you are going to keep having this internal conflict.
5.) Walking in the Spirit:
5.) Walking in the Spirit:
I had an opportunity to have a one -on -one meeting with a Pastor I look up to and I asked him “How do I get where you are spiritually” and this what he said to me “Spend time with the Lord.” Don’t just read your bible to just read your bible ask the Lord to reveal to you what you are reading. Don’t just pray prayers where we are constantly babbling, just be truth and honest with the Lord in your prayers.
Example: When I get fearful/nervous/tense/uneasy; “I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
6.) Call to Action:
6.) Call to Action:
Opportunity to say yes to being a Campus Missionary and in the small group I’ll talk about the basic fundamentals. You need to have a willing heart.
Message: We Are In The Midst of a Spiritual War
Message: We Are In The Midst of a Spiritual War
A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil. For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.
3 Ways To Fight Against the Evil Spirits:
3 Ways To Fight Against the Evil Spirits:
1.) Proclaim The Good News of Jesus Christ:
1.) Proclaim The Good News of Jesus Christ:
How beautiful on the mountains
are the feet of the messenger who brings good news,
the good news of peace and salvation,
the news that the God of Israel reigns!
Our Lord and Savior, the Commander of the Heavenly are is telling us we need share the good news. As some pastors have said, “It is not the great suggestion, it is the great commission.”
When we share the good news of Jesus Christ, those evil spirits that I mentioned earlier can no longer have a strong hold on individual who’s hearts, mind, body, and soul are held captive to the enemy.
Salvations occur when we share the good news of Jesus Christ with others!
2.) Pray:
2.) Pray:
There is fighting taking place in heavenlies that we don’t know about, especially when we are praying.
Daniel 10:1-14
The reason you may not be seeing your prayers answered is because their is an enemy who is trying to stop it from being answered. Keep praying, keep seeking, keep knocking because we don’t full understand the spiritual battle that is taking place behind the scene.
3.) Fasting:
3.) Fasting:
Mark 9
Proclaiming the Good News, Prayer, and Fasting is not a linear system. You may need to one, two, or all of them to see the forces of hell extinguished in your own personal life and in your schools.
Closing:
Closing:
As we move forward, let us remember that the battle we face is not against flesh and blood, but against the powers of darkness and spiritual forces of evil. The Lord has given us the weapons of prayer, fasting, and the bold proclamation of the Gospel. When we lift high the name of Jesus, chains are broken, strongholds are torn down, and light drives out the darkness.
So, I encourage you: share the good news of Jesus Christ with those around you. Pray with faith, knowing that heaven moves when God’s people pray. Fast with a heart set on seeking the Lord, for in our weakness His strength is made perfect. Together, as the Church of Jesus Christ, we stand as more than conquerors. Let’s rise up in unity, walk in His power, and fight the good fight of faith until every heart hears and every soul knows that Jesus Christ is Lord.
