At some point the seed of salvation that was planted in you, if we are tending the garden of our life, should/will bear fruit. Thus the scripture, we judge a tree by its fruit. Also, bear much fruit and prove to be His disciples.
The claim advanced in Christianity is of that magnitude: that with Jesus of Nazareth there is not simply a new religious possibility, not simply a new ethic or a new way of salvation, but a new creation.
