Can we truly know we’re forgiven?
David—and countless others throughout Scripture—experienced the blessing of God’s mercy and forgiveness. Because Christ bore the punishment for our sin, we can be confident in the promise of forgiveness. David urges us not to conceal our wrongdoing, but to bring it into the light, confessing it to a God who is both gracious and compassionate.
