Reconciliation (Part 2)

We are going to continue this idea of reconciliation
And you, formerly being alienated and enemies in the mind by the evil works, but now he reconciled in the body of his flesh through the death, to present you holy and without blemish and without accusation before him, if indeed you remain in the faith, having been founded and steadfast and not being shifted away from the hope of the good news which you heard, the one proclaimed in all creation the one under the heaven, of which I Paul became a servant. (Col 1:21-23)
Psalm 5:5–6 “The boastful will not stand before Your eyes; You hate all who do injustice. You destroy those who speak lies; The Lord loathes the person of bloodshed and deceit.”
Leviticus 16:30 “for it is on this day that atonement shall be made for you to cleanse you; you will be clean from all your sins before the Lord.”
Deuteronomy 30:19–20 “I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have placed before you life and death, the blessing and the curse. So choose life in order that you may live, you and your descendants, by loving the Lord your God, by obeying His voice, and by holding close to Him; for this is your life and the length of your days, so that you may live in the land which the Lord swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give them.””
Deuteronomy 11:26–28 ““See, I am placing before you today a blessing and a curse: the blessing, if you listen to the commandments of the Lord your God, which I am commanding you today; and the curse, if you do not listen to the commandments of the Lord your God, but turn aside from the way which I am commanding you today, by following other gods which you have not known.”
Psalm 19:4 “Their line has gone out into all the earth, And their words to the end of the world. In them He has placed a tent for the sun,”
Paul sees himself joining this cosmic message of reconciliation with all creation so that all creation will hear.
Claim Christ’s cross, cling to faith, stand steadfast, shine holy be reconciled to the resurrection.
