Introduction
Introduction
This is really a debate between Team Allah and Team Dawah. It is team Dawah who constantly attack Allah’s books such as the Torah and the Gospel that the Quran clearly confirms. They also attack the Quran by distorting it, ignoring parts of it and adding to it in order to defend against the Islamic Dilemma.
Definition of the Islamic Dilemma
Definition of the Islamic Dilemma
The Quran affirms the inspiration, preservation, and authority of the Jewish and Christian scriptures. However, the Quran contradicts the Jewish and Christian scriptures on basic docrines.
There are only TWO possibilities:
If the Jews and Christians HAVE the inspired, preserved, authoritative Word of God, then Islam is FALSE.
If the Jews and Christians DO NOT HAVE the inspired, preserved, authoritative Word of God, then Islam is FALSE.
Either way, Islam is FALSE.
It shouldn’t be difficult to figure out as the Quran claims in many verses to be perfectly clear.
Surah 11:1 - This is a Book, whose verses have been made firm and free from imperfection and they have been expounded in detail.
Surah 12:1 - These are verses of the clear Book
Surah 15:1 - These are the verses of the Book and of a Quran that makes things clear.
Surah 57:9 - He it is who sends down clear communications upon His servant, that he may bring you forth from utter darkness into light.
Inspiration
Inspiration
Surah 3:84 - Muslims are to follow the revelation of Allah given to all of Allah’s pophets and mesengers. They are not allowed to make any distinction between these revelations.
It is the mother of all distinctions to say that the previous revelations have all been corrupted. Muslims want us to believe something different from what is in their “perfectly clear” Book.
Allah reveals the identity of the truth before the Quran by saying he revealed the Torah and the Gospel as a guiance for mankind.
What happened after that? Did the Jews corrupt the Torah and then the Christians the Gospel thus thwarting Allah’s plan to guide mankind? Not according to the Quran.
Preservation
Preservation
The Quran also confirms the preservation of the Torah and Gospel.
Surah 3:3-4 - “Between the hands”. The Quran is confirming books that were still available as it was being revealed at the time of Mohammad in the 7th century AD.
Surah 7:157 - In order for Jews and Christians to find Mohammad in the previous scriptures they would require a preserved revelation from Allah to do so.
Surah 2:85- Those who only accept part of Allah’s revelation face severe punishment. Muslims tll Christians to only believe i those parts of their Bible that line up with the Quran. Allah says he will send youto Hell if you do that!
Surah 4:47 - Allah is confirming the Torah and Gospel at the time of Mohammad. Team Dawah rejects that.
Surha 6:114-115 - No one can change the words of Allah. Dawah uses a judge other than Allah
Surah 18:27 - Again, no one can alter his words. It can’t be Jews, Christians or Paul.
Sunan Abu Dawud 4449 - The Torah was used by Mohammad for judgment. They had a Torah to use and Mohammad affirms it.
