Message Title: Move

ME: Red & Green Lights

I’ve “waited on the Lord…” but in reality… I was just waiting longer than needed because I was too scared to move.

I think we can all relate to that because faith isn’t about knowing the next step… it’s about trusting the next step is ordered.

Waiting on the Lord is NOT bad… but alot of times we’re saying we’re waiting on the Lord but we’re really just trying to stay in comfort.

We: Act’s is a book of movement

You ever notice that it’s easy to highlight the safe parts of scripture? We highlight verses about waiting but we skip the one’s about moving in faith.

AND AGAIN WAITING IS NOT BAD. But when you look at Acts… they were always on the move…

When God speaks… 80% of the time is movement - Only 20% they are actually still.

What that says to us is that… God’s direction most often meets those who are already walking.

Psalm 37:23 - Other translations say “The Lord Plans/Directs. But the thought is the same… He orders steps not stillness.

God:

Acts 16:6 - Paul’s plans are good. That’s the key to being guided by the spirit.

Acts 16:6-7 - The Spirit said no twice. BUT THAT DIDN’T STOP PAUl… Just changed there direction.

Acts 16: 9 - God gave new directions/instructions

That re-direction lead to a revival that has impacted the world. (Lydia, Phillipi, Posessed girl, Jailer, and the entire western world)

I want everyone in here to know… You’re not called to just take up a seat, sing some songs… as amazing as that is… you’re called to do something special only when you ask God and move

Gideon - He didn’t get the entire plan on day 1… it was in stages as he stepped in

Moses - Didn’t get all 10 plagues at once!

HEAR ME… Sometime’s the word DOES come when you are sitting still. BUT MOST OF THE TIME IT DOESNT.

Progressive Revelation: God often reveals His will in stages rather than all at once. It’s the next step… not the whole staircase.

Listen to me if you’re not comfortable with what you see in our society… it’s going to require movement of you.

1 Corinthians 3:9 - Partnership with the spirit.

Matthew 10:20 - God will speak through you in situations. But how come people don’t hear from God at times? THE ANSWER IS IN THE PREVIOUS VERSE

Matthew 10:19 - When you step out and into that situation! They didn’t receive the words until they were in the situation.

You: You’re waiting on the move of God when YOU ARE THE MOVE OF GOD.

Your neighbor

Start the conversation with your friend about faith. Pray with the person instead of telling them you’ll pray for them. Actually invite your neighbor or friend to church. Share your story… regardless of what it is

We: If we want to be unstoppable in 2026…

We have to move. We have to take steps. We have to get out of our comfort.

If they changed the world by moving in faith… imagine what we could do in this city be doing the same? I’m tired of handing over the world to hell

We don’t have to move across the ocean… but what if we went across the street, the room… or just out of our comfort zone?

If you really want to make a difference in this generation… Whatever it is that you have for me God… help me move in it.
