The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.

I. People That Are Ruined.

How does God fix broken hearts?

II. People That Are Regretful.

and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.

“contrite” - (1828) deeply affected with grief and sorrow for having offended God; humble; penitent; as a contrite sinner.

How does your sin affect others?

How does your sin affect you?

If you do not see your sin as having bad effects on you, you will never see how bad it is on others.
