Nothing has changed from the previous year

except I have added a line item for another missionary

We can either choose to use it for Kody Aten

or we can pray about adding someone else

We have been steadily getting applications for Angel Tree

Tonight we are going to approve them as Carla hands them out.

Here are the important dates for Angel Tree

October 26 - Angel Tree Kick off

Wrapping party December 13

Everything in by November 30

Passover Meal

I realize this isn’t the committee for this but

I wanted to pass along some information

There is a group called the Chosen People Ministries

They are Messianic Jews.

I have invited them to come and lead the Passover for next year.

This is an incredible outreach event

The Passover will be on April 2nd

Western NC

The next trip to Western NC is the first week in November

Appalachian Backpack Project

Sunday the 19th is the final day to collect backpacks.

The packing date is supposed to be October 26

However, seeing as there is church council, deacons, and member meeting

I am looking for a different time, maybe November 2?

Morrisville

October 19th in the evening is Engaging South Asians

October 25th the van will leave at 8:30 AM.

I am working on finding time in the year next year

and working with Kody to go to Gloucester

Prayer Requests

John’s Recovery: John was driving back from his college campus when another car failed to stop at a stop sign, causing a collision. Thankfully, John was not injured, though his car sustained some body and mechanical damage. Please pray for him as he recovers from the trauma of the accident.

Upcoming Trip: Please pray for my upcoming trip as I prepare and help my family adjust during my absence.

Multipliers Workshop in Bangladesh: Pray for the upcoming Multipliers Workshop planned during my trip—that the Lord will anoint every session and raise up new laborers for the harvest

Washington DC

We are going to Washington DC for a sifting week.

The dates are March 17-21. (Tuesday - Saturday)

South Asia

I am set to go to Nepal in February

I filled out the application today

and am working through the process.

Zambia

Chris and family are in town

He will be dropping by the office next week sometime.

I will find out about him speaking

Uganda

For those that aren’t aware

there is a congregation faithfully watching us from Bilgiri, Uganda

The pastor’s name is William Osemeki

I have been communicating with him regularly

and he has been sending me videos of the congregation

the latest was of them taking the Lord’s supper with us.

John Macintyre is going in January to Uganda to that area

I’ve sent word to have him check in on the congregation in that area.

I will contact John to see if he can take a suitcase we can stuff with stuff for Osemeki.
