SHINE YOUR LIGHT

Matthew 5:16

16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Letting your light shine is a responsibility to all believers to be a blessing and be impact our world. (Gen 12:2, John 1:4-5). Every believer in Christ Jesus has light. Believers have the responsibility to shine their light or let their light shine in order to give glory to God. Matt 5:16.

HOW DO I SHINE MY LIGHT

1. Live with purpose: You are now light in Christ, so live your life as children of light. Eph 5:8

2. Do good works: Act on the good works that god has designed and engraved you for, not for human praise, but to point others to God's goodness. Gal 6:10, Heb 13:16.

3. Share the gospel: Share the opportunity every day as they present to you to share the good news of your faith in Christ. Never be ashamed of the gospel. Romans 1:16, Mark 8:38.

4. Pray for others: Pray for people in your life, as well as for the world, including those who are oppressed: Job 42:10, 1 Timothy 2:1-2.

5. Immerse yourself in scriptures: Study, meditate for understanding, and totally obey the word of God. 2Tim 2:15, Col 3:16, Josh 1:8.

6. Allow God's blessing in your life to be visible: Peace, Joy, Love, and other Materials and Financial blessings. Gen 12:2, Eph 4:28.

7. Immerse yourself in service to God and humanity: Josh 24:15, Matt 6:24. No one can serve two masters.
