Abiding In Our Savior Is Our Strength
BUSY - Being Under Satan’s Yoke
We sometimes are busy to fulfill our ego that we are “Important”
But it is often a distraction from the devil
to distract from our purpose
to distract from God’s presence
Matthew 11:28-30

Psalm 46:10 ““Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!””
Elijah had a moment he was overwhelmed by the “storm” and needed to get still to find strength 1 Kgs 18:1-19:3
1 Kgs 19:10-14 I am the only one
God wasn’t in the wind, earthquake, or the fire
God was in the still small whisper

Stillness isn’t laziness
Stillness is abiding in God
As we abide, anxiety leaves
Stillness reminds us that God is sovereign
It is in the stillness that we hear God speak
This is where we receive guidance, wisdom, faith, and trust for the day
It disconnects us from the world and connects us to God
Finding an intentional place t be still in the secret place during the day

Knowing that He is God
He is bigger than our problems
It is in this place fear leaves and faith remains Ps 27:1, 18:2
He is in control - God’s ultimate authority over all Eph 1:22, Heb 2:8, Ps 8:6, Mt 28:18, Col 2:10
He works all things for God Rom 8:28
Comfort in Chaos is found in surrendering control to Christ
Be anxious for nothing, but abide
Phil 4:6-10
Eph 3:20-21
Isaiah 40:31 “but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.”
