God’s promises are true.
God’s word is sure.
God’s promise here is conditioned on a person calling upon him. He does not promise to be near to those who don’t.
What is the state of prayer in the Church?
44% of Americans say they pray daily. That actually surprised me. This is according the Google. Barna has it at 57% once per week with their poll leaning toward Christians. That seems right if the overall population is at 44%.
