Purpose: To address the congregation’s fear and anxiety about change with David’s example of confidence in God.
Outline:
The Lord Is My Light and Salvation (v. 1) — Fear has no hold when God is your security.
Seeking God’s Presence (vv. 4–6) — Worship is the antidote to worry.
Waiting on the Lord (vv. 13–14) — “Be strong and take heart, and wait for the Lord.”Connection: “In moments of change, courage doesn’t mean no fear—it means trusting God while afraid.”
