Marriage is not the goal. The glory of God is the goal. Marriage will not satisfy only God can satisfy. We can as Augustine says get our loves out of order. All of your disastifcation in life comes from disordered loves.
Take vacations…. When we go on vaction hoping it will satisfy it always ends in a mess. But when we put the joy and love for vaction in its proper place it increases the joy we find in it.
