Clearly - Jesus doesn’t want us to step on Loose rock | Wants us on Firm Foundation - Why?
and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
However, competitor for truth.
For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths.
How then, in a world flooded with info | Do we discern - What is true? | How do we have “Discernment”?

If going to stand for Truth and have Discernment. Know 2 things:
Be aware of what might try and sway you away from God’s Truth.

Jude, Jesus half brother,
Beloved, although I was very eager to write to you about our common salvation, I found it necessary to write appealing to you to contend for the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints.
Eager for Salvation | Necessary to let them know - Necessary for us.
For certain people have crept in unnoticed who long ago were designated for this condemnation, ungodly people, who pervert the grace of our God into sensuality and deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.
Crept in = False Teachers. Paul and Peter warn as well.
Yet because of false brothers secretly brought in—who slipped in to spy out our freedom that we have in Christ Jesus, so that they might bring us into slavery—
But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction.
Jude = Perverted grace = Landmine = Free Grace = Goes like this “Do whatever you want because God will forgive you” - True- Paul says;
What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin that grace may abound? By no means! How can we who died to sin still live in it?
Jude gives 3 examples of the sin of False Teachers | Called “Midrashic Technique” - Scripture to explain Scripture.
Now I want to remind you, although you once fully knew it, that Jesus, who saved a people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who did not believe. And the angels who did not stay within their own position of authority, but left their proper dwelling, he has kept in eternal chains under gloomy darkness until the judgment of the great day— just as Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding cities, which likewise indulged in sexual immorality and pursued unnatural desire, serve as an example by undergoing a punishment of eternal fire.
Egypt = People inside group | Angels = Pride | Sodom and Gomorrah = Did not listen.
Yet in like manner these people also, relying on their dreams, defile the flesh, reject authority, and blaspheme the glorious ones.
Relying on Dreams / Signs = Constantine | Reject Authority | Reject Jesus as Lord.
Woe to them! For they walked in the way of Cain and abandoned themselves for the sake of gain to Balaam’s error and perished in Korah’s rebellion.
Cain = Jelousy / Bitterness / Envy
Balaam = Loved Money over following God | Led isreal into Immorality | Attitude = Can cooperate with world.
Korah = Didn’t like Authority= Swallowed by earth.
These are hidden reefs at your love feasts, as they feast with you without fear, shepherds feeding themselves; waterless clouds, swept along by winds; fruitless trees in late autumn, twice dead, uprooted;
Waterless clouds | Promise Rain = No Life
Guys - Transformation of the heart should Tickle.
Protein Shake + Greens = good for you (Taste funny) Same as truth | Cold Shower - Transformation, and Healing requires Sacrifice.
This is why Maturity | Growth - so important:
so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes.
Here is connection between now & Enoch

This is corruption Enoch was contending with | Perverted Grace = Gone too far.

Be aware and alert, but not afraid
But you must remember, beloved, the predictions of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ. They said to you, “In the last time there will be scoffers, following their own ungodly passions.” It is these who cause divisions, worldly people, devoid of the Spirit.

2. Build yourself up in the Faith
But you, beloved, building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit,
How build yourself up in faith? Know the Truth | Walk by it | Prove God is telling truth.
3. Pray in the Holy Spirit
Pray as prompted by Holy Spirit | Ask Holy Spirit for Discernment
4. Remain in the Love of God
keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ that leads to eternal life.
Dont forget first love | Revelation urgest his | We can become cynical when don’t see change that Truth is religion or rules | Can forget purpose is love - to set you Free.
5. Keep the Hope of Eternal life.
