Intro

There were two neighbors
They each enjoyed sitting out on their front porches and talking over the fence on a weekly basis while drinking their coffee.
Every week the two would greet one another and compliment something they noticed around the house of the other. At which point the one who had been complimented would respond, “yes, I am happy with that, here is everything I did to take care of it. However, I am really unhappy with the state of my bushes, they all need trimmed.”
Back and forth they would compliment, celebrate, and discuss something that wasn’t quite right.
Over the years more and more tasks were added to their list. THey would sit and talk about what they needed to do to improve their homes, and they would sit, they would drink their coffee, and they would talk.
You see these two neighbors celebrated what looked good
They also discussed what was broken, and wrong and what needed work.
But neither of them every did anything to help or push the toward progress.
