Revelation 19:6

Today I want to prepare you for the journey ahead. To prepare you for the adventure and instruction in the Lord that lies in front of us in the coming months.
I want to prepare your minds to understand and to affirm the complete Sovereignty and Rule of Almighty God, as we walk through the book of Revelation starting next week.
We will lay aside all fear and trepidation and walk with confidence into this blessed book and most sacred letter.
Before we do, we will settle today, that Our God Reigns!
That right now He is ruling and reigning.
That right now He is overall, in all and through all.
That right now He alone superintends over all the Universe, all of Creation and all the affairs of men.
Today we will be reminded that He alone sustains all things and commands the events of human history.
Today we will be reminded that our trust in Him and our faith in His Son is based off of all past promises fulfilled and the weight of the evidence of His faithfulness.
This gives us great assurance as we read and understand this blessed tome that is meant to comfort the believer.
Let us Read again these words, Revelation 19:6 “And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth.”
