In The Final Walk Begins (John 18:1–14), we witness Jesus willingly step into the darkest hours of His earthly life not as a victim, but as a Savior fulfilling God’s redemptive plan. When John writes, “He went out,” it marks the moment creation had awaited since the fall of Adam. Crossing the dark Brook Kidron, Jesus the Light of the World enters Gethsemane to restore what was lost in Eden. His divine power drops an army to the ground with two words, “I Am.” Yet, in love, He yields Himself to be bound for our sake. Jesus went out so we could be brought in into grace, truth, and eternal life.
