Introduction

Common collegiate problem — anxiety about what’s next
Irony — fear of post-college often ends up being not as bad as expected, joy of breaks often ends up being a setback spiritually
Don’t you want to end this season of your life with the confidence Paul had? (v. 17-28)

Explanation

Stay on guard against spiritual attack (v. 29-31)
1 Cor. 15:33 — old friendships, places, exes
Revisiting tense relationships with family

Don’t lose sight of the gospel (v. 32)
Not just denying flesh & behavioral change; remember what he’s done for you!
Follow the example of admirable leaders (v. 33-35)
Hopefully I’ve been that — 1 Cor. 11:1
Maybe ask for advice for situations you’re walking into
Call on mentors for prayer over breaks
Lean on the friendships of godly peers (v. 36-38)

You set the tone; don’t wait for others
