It wont always be like this!

We must leave room for Gods detours, the blessings may come on the paths
that you didnt expect to take.
Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.”
Deuteronomy 30:9 “The Lord your God will make you abundantly prosperous in all the work of your hand, in the fruit of your womb and in the fruit of your cattle and in the fruit of your ground. For the Lord will again take delight in prospering you, as he took delight in your fathers,”
This was a prophesy to the exiled isrealites from GOD
God has a plan
He offers them hope for future restoration
This was a corporate promise to the nation of isreal
God was assuring his covenant people that there history was not over and there long term future as a nation was secure,
He told them he will prosper them and give them peace
peace is wholeness and well -being this was not a promise of material wealth but for holistic restoration to right relation with God
future and hope
God has not forgotten them
even though they faced decades of exiles
the promise would be forfilled in gods timing not there own
