I. INTRODUCTION
When we talk about the incarnation of Christ, this is one of the greatest mysteries and miracles in human history. We are not just talking about a little baby that was born and placed in a manger. We are talking about the King of kings and The Lord of lords. The eternal God took on human flesh entered his creation to save His people from sin and reconcile them to the Father.
Advent – Means “coming” or “arrival,” this term refers to the coming of Jesus Christ to earth to provide salvation by his life, death, resurrection and ascension. Christians now anticipate a second advent when Christ will return to earth in bodily form to receive the church and to judge the nations. The term advent also refers to a four-week season in the Christian liturgical calendar that prepares for Christmas by celebrating both the first coming of Jesus at his birth and anticipating his future second coming. It's a time of reflection, waiting, and preparation for the celebration of Christ's Incarnation and His promised return.
The Advent season is not just about counting down the days until Christmas. It’s about preparing our hearts to welcome the Savior. And of course, Christ already came and one day will come again. When that day come, He will be back in Glory!
How wonderful and how marvelous His first coming was. He came with the gift of salvation that brings Hope, Peace, Joy, and Love.
