A Biblical Examination of these Policies

Last week, we studied governmental establishment and makeup as well as economic issues, how the Democratic Party viewed these issues, and what the Bible says about them.

Today we are going to examine moral and social issues, those that are more clear-cut and that we think about when we consider biblical issues.

II. We have Grown Dim in Understanding

What I mean by that is two-fold:

We have lost our understanding of how the Bible relates to our way of life as Americans.

We have lost our understanding of how Democratic Party policies are contrary to the Bible.

We have failed to make the Bible our guiding principle, and have chosen rather emotion, fleshly notions, or the cult of personality.

Today’s text was chosen for this purpose: John 17:16–17 “They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.”

We Christians are not of this world - yet we’ve allowed the world to effect our Judgment in these matters. Jesus prayed that we would be ‘sanctified through His TRUTH’ - Sanctified, set apart. The Bible should be our guiding principle and should shape us in our beliefs, not our emotions. Not what we want or are familiar with or a personality of some politician.

The first thing we’re going to look at is Moral Issues

Moral Issues:

Abortion (Murder)

The first and most direct text concerning abortion is found in: Exodus 21:22–25 “If men strive, and hurt a woman with child, so that her fruit depart from her, and yet no mischief follow: he shall be surely punished, according as the woman’s husband will lay upon him; and he shall pay as the judges determine. And if any mischief follow, then thou shalt give life for life, Eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, Burning for burning, wound for wound, stripe for stripe.”

This text puts the same value on those inside the womb vs. those on the outside.

In other words, God sees no difference between the unborn and the born. Therefore, neither should we!

Secondly, the Bible - as you know - states: Exodus 20:13 “Thou shalt not kill.” Man is made in the image of God, and the Bible speaks against the murder of the innocent.

Now the argument that liberals will make is that, "my body, my choice." Therefore, if you can prove both biblically and scientifically that the murder of the child in the womb is not the woman's body, but is a separate person altogether, then you can conclude that it is murder.

Biblically a Human

If you’re a Christian that believes the Bible, then you must conclude the following:

Man is born in the image of God

Genesis 1:26 “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.”

God is the author of life, and creates man on purpose, for purpose

Jeremiah 1:5 “Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.”

Psalm 139:13–14 “For thou hast possessed my reins: Thou hast covered me in my mother’s womb. I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: Marvellous are thy works; And that my soul knoweth right well.”

So the Bible not only specifically states, but the implication is there throughout that Biblically, the unborn child is a human being, separate from, but within the mother.

But it also speaks to that truth Scientifically

Scientifically a Human

It’s own DNA

At the moment of conception, a brand new, unique DNA strand is formed. It is separate from the mother.

It’s own blood type

It’s own immune system

It’s own circulation system (blood never mixes

It’s own developmental control

Scientifically, the fetus is a distinct, living human organism with its own DNA, organs, and biological systems. It is dependent on the mother for survival — much like a newborn is — but not part of her body in a genetic, immunological, or organismal sense.

By every scientific metric, it is not a ‘growth’ within the woman, it is it’s own being.

Abortion is MURDER

Marijuana Legalization

I’ve spoken on this before, but one of the things liberals are wanting to do is legalize marijuana. You could confront this in two different ways:

The Principle:

The same principle that deals with intoxicating beverage would speak to other intoxicating substances as well. Proverbs 20:1 “Wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging: And whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise.”

In other words, what the Bible says about Wine, would apply to Weed.

The Particular:

Galatians 5:19–20 “Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,”

The word ‘witchcraft’ literally means ‘a drug’ or ‘medication’. The greek word is pronounced ‘pharmacia’, and it’s where we get our word ‘pharmacy’.

The Bible speaks against mind and flesh controlling substances, yet the Democrat party is for them

Sexual Deviancy

Sodomy (Homosexuality)

This is another simple one: Leviticus 18:22 “Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.” Leviticus 20:13 “If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.”

God feels so strongly about this that it was a death penalty offense!

From the Democratic Party Platform 2024: Democrats passed and President Biden signed the historic Respect for Marriage Act, enshrining marriage equality in federal law.

Democrats by & large are promoting same-sex relationships, and passing them off as ‘good and productive for society’. (Show video)

The Bible clearly speaks against a practice that Democrats promote

Transgenderism (Fantasy Land)

The Bible says: Deuteronomy 22:5 “The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman’s garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the Lord thy God.”

Some groups take this verse as the pharisees would to say that women can’t wear pants & such, but church, that’s not what it’s about… it’s about what we’re seeing right now today!

They promote such programs as:

Men competing against women: (show pics)

And let me make one thing clear: Genesis 1:27 “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.” - MALE AND FEMALE. There is no such thing as ‘non-binary’ or ‘they/them’ pronouns. Do you know what they are? They are CONFUSED - AND THEY NEED JESUS, THEY DON’T NEED AFFIRMATION!

(Ill.) Imagine the insanity. Let’s say I believe that I’m Superman. And all my ‘friends’ and even the ‘professionals’ told me ‘Oh yeah, you’re Superman all right. I’ve know many Supermen, and you sure have got to be the most Superman, Superman I know. And so I begin acting like Superman ( I wear my underwear on the outside), and I go to jump off the roof of my house because I can fly. ALL THE WHILE I HAVE MY ‘FRIENDS’ AND ‘PROFESSIONALS’ OUT THERE CHEERING ME ON IN MY MADNESS, INSTEAD OF HELPING ME SEE THE ERROR OF MY WAYS BEFORE I AM DESTROYED!

HOW HORRIBLE IS THAT?!? Btw, What do you see as a pattern concerning these things? THE DESTRUCTION OF THE FAMILY!

They champion Transgenderism which is obviously anti-Bible

Sowing Division (Pr. 16:28; 6:12-14; 6:16-19; Rom. 16:17-18)

The Bible says:

Proverbs 16:28 “A froward man soweth strife: And a whisperer separateth chief friends.”

Proverbs 6:16–19 “These six things doth the Lord hate: Yea, seven are an abomination unto him: A proud look, a lying tongue, And hands that shed innocent blood, An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, Feet that be swift in running to mischief, A false witness that speaketh lies, And he that soweth discord among brethren.”

Romans 16:17–18 “Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.”

Proverbs 6:12–14 “A naughty person, a wicked man, Walketh with a froward mouth. He winketh with his eyes, He speaketh with his feet, He teacheth with his fingers; Frowardness is in his heart, He deviseth mischief continually; He soweth discord.”

If you analyze the Democratic strategy since the days of Woodrow Wilson, they are ‘Divide and Conquer’.

It’s so ingrained in them, they can’t even bring their gay people together!

It used to be just ‘Gay’.

Then it was LGB - Lesbian, Gay & Bicycle

They it went to LGBT - Lesbian, Gay, Bicycle & Try to look like a woman

Then LGBTQIA+

They can’t even get together on that issue in solidarity! But let’s look at just a few others.

Racial Division

Back in the 1950’s & 60’s in the south, you had segregation. Let me be clear about this - that was wrong. It was wrong then for the same reasons division is wrong today. God did not make any color superior to another, and there should be no law favoring one color over another! BUT THAT WAS 60-70 YEARS AGO.

There is no such thing as ‘SYSTEMIC RACISM’ today against black people, or any other people. This implies that racism is found in the system - BUT THERE IS NO LAWS, CODES OR PRACTICES THAT ARE RACIST AGAINST ANYONE TODAY. The closest argument you could make is racism against white people from affirmative action.

But what are the Democrats pushing? DEI - ‘Diversity, equity, and inclusion’. That is unless you're a white Christian.

Let me ask you something, those that are at least as old as me. Has divisions between races been more pronounced today than they were before Obama was elected? Do you know why that is? It's because it's by design.

Anger prevents you from thinking clearly. You lose your rational mindset and consumed with emotion to where it blinds you.

Proverbs 14:29 “He that is slow to wrath is of great understanding: But he that is hasty of spirit exalteth folly.”

Ecclesiastes 7:9 “Be not hasty in thy spirit to be angry: for anger resteth in the bosom of fools.”

Democrats are trained to hate their political enemies. There is a reason for all the rhetoric with calling people ‘Nazi’s, Fascists, homophobes, transphobes. They want you worked up into a frenzy, and when that frenzy is unleashed on a man like Charlie Kirk, then they point the finger to someone else.

They sow Racial Division

Class Warfare

Speaking of Woodrow Wilson: The 16th amendment that gave the government authorization to charge American’s an income tax was ratified in 1913 led by Democrat Woodrow Wilson. His rhetoric was very much like what you hear today. See if these quotes sound familiar. “The burden of this great government should not be borne by the backs of the poor, but should be borne by those who can most easily bear it.” - in other words, as AOC would put it ‘TAX THE RICH’.

Bernie Sanders used to go around talking about taxing the millionaires because they had too much money, and the poor didn’t have enough. (He has a video on a surcharge on millionaires from 14 years ago on his youtube channel). Now he doesn’t talk about millionaires anymore - BECAUSE HE IS ONE. Now he talks about taxing the Billionaires!

They pit the poor against the rich.

So we see of the Sowing of Division

Criminal Justice “Reforms”

Democrats champion what they call ‘Criminal Justice Reform’, where as I would call it ‘soft on crime’.

They say it needs reform because poor, black men are disproportionately incarcerated. The comprise about 13% of the population, but fill over 40% of the prisons.

Btw, do you know why more black people are in jail? Because they commit more crimes.

Do you know why they commit more crimes? Because they come from more broken homes without fathers.

Do you know why their homes have been destroyed? The Great Society policies of LBJ in the 1960’s.

But we’re talking about Reforms.

It used to be that when someone committed a crime, they were punished for it. That's back in the olden days. Today's Democrats deal with crime differently. They desire to fix the disparity by various means, two of which we’ll look at today:

Cashless bail

In these Democratic run cities, When they arrest someone for a crime, they take them in, book them, and then let them go. Then you couple that with

Restorative/rehabilitated justice

Instead of punishing them for their crime, in similitude with the severity of the crime, they desire to rehabilitate them, give them a light sentence, and hope that they will not go back to committing more crimes.

There are just two problems with that:

It doesn't work.

You might remember the young girl on the light rail in Charlotte: Iryna Zarutska killed by Decarlos Brown Jr.

He was arrested 14x prior to the murder - had he been in jail, where he should have been - he’d not have killed that girl.

Oh, do you know what he was saying afterwards? I got that white girl!

It's not biblical.

Psalm 89:14 “Justice and judgment are the habitation of thy throne: Mercy and truth shall go before thy face.”

God is a God of Justice. If He weren’t , then Jesus had not have come and died for our sins!

There is no ‘Justice’ in their view of Criminal Justice

Attacks on the 2nd Amendment

Throughout the Bible we see God honored the arming of his people the citizens of his country.

We see it in Nehemiah where they built with one hand and held the sword with the other.

In the law it states: Exodus 22:2 “If a thief be found breaking up, and be smitten that he die, there shall no blood be shed for him.”

God justified self-defense & protection of property

Proverbs 24:11–12 “If thou forbear to deliver them that are drawn unto death, And those that are ready to be slain; If thou sayest, Behold, we knew it not; Doth not he that pondereth the heart consider it? And he that keepeth thy soul, doth not he know it? And shall not he render to every man according to his works?”

God instructs to intervene on the behalf of others

Jesus said: Luke 11:21 “When a strong man armed keepeth his palace, his goods are in peace:”

So they pass laws to restrict your natural God-given rights to life and property
