SERVING GOD WITH A PERFECT HEARTS

1 Chronicles 28:9

And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind: for the Lord searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts: if thou seek him, he will be found of thee; but if thou forsake him, he will cast thee off for ever.

When it comes to following and serving the lord, the right, the power, and the privilege to decide has been left in our hands by God. We are not forced or bound like slaves to do anything we do not want to do. Josh 24:15.

Our service to God or humanity is to our benefit first before others. Exo 23:25-30. Service to God is a sign of gratitude to God for all he has done for you. 1 Sam 12:24

As children of God, we ought to serve him with whatever gifts, talents, and resources he has blessed us with. Exo 10:24-26.

And just like children who want to please their parents, we should be determined to excel in any area we may be in to serve wholeheartedly and faithfully. Gal 1:10.

HOW DO I SERVE GOD WITH A PERFECT HEART

1. Pray for his grace: Phil 2:13, Jer 33:3.

2. Serve with gladness: Psm 100:1-2.

3. Know your passion or calling: Serve God in line and according to the ability he has given you. 1 Peter 4:9-11, Luke 13:32.

4. Serve with the fear of God in your heart: Psm 2:11

By doing to others what you demand them to do to you. Matt 7:12

By hating evil and doing good in every discharge of your service. Psm 34:14, Prov 8:13, Job 1:1-2 & 8

5.Serve with all your resources: Matt 6:21

Your resources are your treasures. Exo 10:24-26
